  1. Ditto on paying down bills. I would go 35/35/30 between that, regular savings, and putting something away for a nicer, longer overseas vacation.
  2. Yeah, I want to see it soon! I heard that Gary Glitter's "Rock and Roll Part 2" is on the soundtrack. Not the best choice.
  3. Yeah. One comment I've heard is that the challenge recipes seem to get more and more obscure. I like finding out about forgotten desserts, though.
  4. What are you watching? I'm waiting for the current season of The Great British Bake Off / Baking Show to wrap up so I can binge watch it over a weekend.
  5. Still haven’t seen it, but it's been interesting seeing the divide between critics and the audience. It's pretty stark on Rotten Tomatoes, 60-something percent from critics but close to 90 percent from site users. I also wonder how this Joker portrayal compares to Heath Ledger's..
  6. Yeah... Where do we wisely draw the line? There's so much said about travel being educational and eye-opening. Should we wait for virtual reality to advance until we could zip through countries with VR headsets?
  7. I was just listening to Parton's "Jolene" in the car. Great voice, like a bird's. Other than her I don't like the genre. To me it starts sounding repetitive fast.
  8. This is really subjective, but I can't stand it when a YouTuber is trying hard to be funny, like exaggerating a goofy face too many times or putting huge emojis or text-speak across the screen.
  9. I finally got around to seeing Twin Peaks and Twin Peaks: The Return. Gotta love David Lynch's style, music choices, and weird plot ideas. I'd put them on the list.
  10. This looks intense, like something you'd see only once because it's good but draining at the same time. Joaquin Phoenix does seem amazing here.
  11. I like when the script is realistic and moves the story forward. The movie's look doesn't need to have dazzling special effects. As long as the visuals keep me curious about the story, it's cool.
  12. You have to get moving regularly, even if it's just walking (preferably up at least one good hill) or taking an extra flight of stairs.
  13. There's rumors that the movie version is in the works. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint will be back, too. Would you see it?
  14. I don't know if comedy acts (at least in the US) ever got near the crowds of popular musicians or movie premieres. I'm thinking they do better on streaming services.
