  1. Celebrities are normal human beings that have emotions and the fact that they are mostly in the limelight requires them to behave in a certain way so as to conform to the standards set by the entertainment industry. Even without some personality traits being innate, most celebrities learn how to handle this pressure, over time.
  2. Just like you @Gareth The Great, I don't really get scared of climbing a place as compared to say, climbing a high tower so as to get a good view of a scenery. At the end of it all, what matters is whether or not these fears get in the way of our normal day-to-day activities.
  3. Well, if indeed they were charged for their actions, then times could be changing. There is really no point in being dishonest with such admissions because eventually, everything tends to come out.
  4. Thanks for that explanation @Zack T; I had only heard about Intel processors but now the picture is now much clearer. @whothe_h_isshane, I thought that not all desktops are faster than laptops? It all (probably) comes down to the nature of the processor.
  5. That has been quite a wait and the trailer raised many questions than answers. I see it having some sort of happy ending (Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen consummating their flirtation). Again, will things between Sansa and Arya be right this time round?
  6. You make a good point @Zack T because the kind of processor determines a laptop's overall performance. Which are the best processors if we are to make the purchasing decision based on brand?
  7. Get at least 6 to 7 hours of sleep mate though I wish that was true for me (I mostly do at least 5 hours). Coffee stopped keeping me awake way back, even when I wasn't addicted to it.
  8. I actually have both and I only carry the laptop when I need to travel and perform some tasks on the go. Like @Zack T says, it comes down to what you want to do with your computer. If you can afford it, then go for both.
  9. Indeed, the more we play, the more we get good at whatever video game we've embarked on, at times subconsciously. YouTube has evolved into a really useful tool for most gamers. Learning from mistakes is also a great way to get better.
  10. How was it when you first started out? I kept getting killed at Call of Duty until I learned how to use the equipment properly. I improved my skill by learning the maps and selecting the gun that best suited me. I also noticed that when I used the gaming headphones (back then I didn't wear them all the time) I would hear someone shooting and react appropriately.
  11. Just like @Zack T says, quitting smoking has to be among the hardest things to ever attempt to do. However, what I have never understood is whether the ease of addiction varies from one person to the other. I believe the starting point is to have the will to quit!
  12. Everything that happens in the entertainment scene is well-scripted to have an effect on our lifestyle. One thing I have come to appreciate is that the different cultures and environments we all exist in, determine the kind of people we turn out to be. This diversity is what should bring us together.
  13. I agree with both your lists and as for Anthony Joshua, it is just a matter of time before he surpasses all records set before he came into the picture. I had no idea that Wladimir Klitschko was that outstanding!
  14. I guess that the best time to exercise is when the schedule permits it. There are people that love to strictly exercise at specific schedules.
  15. For a long time, Tyrion Lannister has been my favorite and even if he and Sansa go separate ways, I would love to see him as king. It will be a long while before we see such creativity in the form of a series.
  16. The celebrated comedian has had to pull out of the gig because of tweets he made 10 years ago, and this goes on to show that the internet never forgets. Did he make the right choice?
  17. Ooh yes, Pong was initially released in 1972 and I used to play it because of my love for table tennis. I am not sure what the current generation would regard this game as because a lot has changed in the video gaming scene.

    Reading Tips

Well, I have always believed that the best way to make a judge a book is by reading it to the very end. It just akin to watch a movie that is initially boring. You will never know at what point the plot is going to change. I have never been the person that doesn't read a particular book to the end.

    Reading Tips

Wow, that is quite some sound advice though I have always believed that the best way to judge a book is by reading it to the end. I have favorite authors but I am also the type that can grab any book and read it to the end. It makes sense to have a distinction.

    Reading Tips

I have come to accept the fact that we are all different. A certain friend of mine reads two or three books at a go and at times, she will be done within a week. Not only am I slow; I lose interest in a book within a really short time. Try to set timelines without necessarily altering your speed as you could easily end up skimming rather than reading.
  21. You will love this series. In fact, I am thinking of starting all over again. There has been a lot of talk about how it could end and I have always looked forward to Tyron and Sansa ending up together. Too bad we'll have nothing to look forward to anymore.
  22. AI has grown in leaps and bounds to an extent where it is possible to mimic humans. In real war fare, an enemy can attack you without having a clear visual and we are beginning to see such possibilities in the gaming scene. Do you reckon that the gaming experience will get better, going forward?
  23. JJ is without doubt, an icon and he's such an epitome of simplicity and humility, by all means. I had no idea that he was involved in Star Wars; he simply has gone to places others haven't dared to gone. I can't wait for MI6!
  24. @Luna, I already watched the trailer and it's my official must-watch movie, this Christmas season. The good thing about animations is that the kids too can enjoy watching!
  25. Did any of you watch Rango? That is my all-time favorite animation movie. Zootopia comes close as well. It has been a while since I watched any other. Has anyone watched Boss Baby and if so, how would you recommend it?
