  1. I'm not too concerned about staying employed. I know of way too many ways of making money to be concerned about not making money. It's making enough money to meet expenses that keep me up at night from time to time.
  2. Eddie's the man. He's one of those who can come out, not say a thing and you'll still laugh. I watched it, and it wasn't a waste of time.
  3. What are you watching that makes that an overused saying? LOL :omg: It's not offensive to me, and I doubt it would be to the gentleman it's directed towards. Under normal circumstances of course.
  4. I don't think I have ever heard a song so peaceful and powerful at the same time. You can re-mix this with current news and have the same effect.
  5. I have two on my side so far......whaleshark and Ogmore.......have another cookie. :) Gareth, I still have a significant other so we still play the game. But like others have said, we pare it down a bit year after year.
  6. Looks lovely. Makes you wonder what the night looks like. Yes whaleshark, more coffee is never a bad thing. I wonder if people in Seattle grow their own? It would make sense, especially on horrid days like that.
  7. We have been having an intrusion of mice in my house. Caught 4 in 2 days. Does that constitute cleaning? If so......yeah.....I'm not a fan.
  8. I gamble every now and then. I don't make a habit out of it but it is a fun little escape to go to a casino. The end of season matches are the only things I'll put money down on when it comes to sports though.
  9. I make plans. It means the same as a resolution to me. But to be honest, I do this more during the year than at the start of it.
  10. Aside from being Captain Obvious and telling them that it might not end well for them, I don't know if you can do anything. It must have been dark outside when those incidents happened?
  11. Does anyone feel like just not doing all the Christmas things for one year? Not to be a Scrooge or be anti-Christmas or anything, but just simply bow out for one year?
  12. I wonder if he's conflicted about this, I know I would be. On one hand I know he wants the ring, but does he believe he's on the same level as other HOF'ers? I'm not saying he's not, I just wonder what HE thinks about it all?
  13. I haven't been to one since I was young. I miss it, but something tells me the old filing system they had is an e-system now.
  14. So we have 2 options. He is either getting in due to inside connections, or because of his one year tenure in the sport. I have never heard of ANYone getting into a hall of fame after playing the sport for only 1 year.
  15. I was another Breaking Bad binger. I don't like doing it very much because I still miss the days when you had to wait a week to watch the next episode.
  16. Old school is the best school. Roger. They can both hold a tune like I hold onto women, but Roger has more power. In Rock and Roll, power counts for a lot.
  17. I know. That was kind of my point. The government, theoretically, would study it and make a technology based on its findings. But since that technology was never made, the "power" that people were said to have probably never existed. The government was studying a rumor, basically.
  18. My fighter personality is giving a few well timed jabs and letting the opponent do most of the work. By the middle of the fight he'll start to tire out and wear himself down. By the 8th or 9th round he'll be tired enough to not be able to adequately defend himself, and that's when I move in for the kill.
  19. I believe they have. Artists used to take their time to create art. Roger Waters of Pink Floyd once said that they took so much time making Dark Side Of The Moon that the studio felt they were "wasting" time. But look at the result. Now, people just turn out a marketable product. Musicianship has nothing to do with it.
  20. People have been toying with the 3D option for decades now. Off and on. I think people need to accept that this will never be anything more than a novelty and just move on.
  21. The last time I saw a phone just sitting somewhere, I turned it over to the cashier at the store I was in. The owner was very grateful.
  22. I haven't heard anything about technology that could do this for a person, so I'm skeptical. Usually, when the government tries something like this and it turns out to be nothing, people in the private sector will pick up that torch. Since that never happened I don't think remote viewing ever was a thing.
  23. If I could change anything it would be Johnny Depp starring in The Butterfly Effect instead of Ashton Kurchner. Just to see what kind of butterfly effect that would have.
  24. I like the city specific ones. New York, Chicago, etc. Don't some companies get permission from Hasbro to make some that are more region specific? Like a small town that only people in a certain area would understand?
  25. Thank you for the insight into how it all goes down. All you ever see is the finished product, so seeing the inner workings of how it gets to that point has always interested me.
