  1. I give Sheamus credit for being one of the few big guys in WWE who can actually carry on a decent match, but with that said, I have no interest in Sheamus as a wrestler or as a character whatsoever. Whether you blame it on his booking or just the man himself, he just seems played out. I'm just hoping that, when he returns, WWE will do something with him that will change my mind. It also looks like Sheamus will likely be returning in time for WrestleMania, so that makes me wonder just who he will face at 'Mania, if anyone. I know one of the early plans was to put Sheamus against Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania, but ever since the forced booking of Daniel Bryan following the Royal Rumble, I just can't see that happening. Maybe I'm in the minority of people who believe this, but I am against WWE giving into the fans again. I know that's kind of an odd statement considering I am a fan, but I am quickly buying into the 'heel authority' concept that the fans don't know what they want. Daniel Bryan is a name that speaks for itself in WWE at this point. Bryan is, by far, the most over guy in the company right now, but that does not mean that WWE has to appease the fans at every opportunity. My hope is that WWE is using the match between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan at Fastlane as a way to get fans to jump back on the Roman Reigns bandwagon. Right now, Roman is getting a mixed reaction from the crowd because he is not as over as Bryan right now. If they give Roman/Bryan enough time at Fastlane and allow those two to put on an epic match, Bryan could prove to be the man to put Reigns back in the driver's seat as a solid face. Alternatively, they could turn Roman heel and have him cheat or something of the sort to ensure that he wins at Fastlane to keep his spot at WrestleMania. Whatever they end up doing, I am very much against another Triple Threat Match in the main event of WrestleMania. To me, last year was a different story completely. Batista returned to WWE as a shell of what he used to be; he didn't have the skills on the mic or in the ring that he did before he left, but WWE booked him over guys like Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan so the damage control from WWE was justified. However, Roman Reigns is a competent in-ring performer and, while his mic skills still need a bit of work, there is no doubt that Roman is capable of being the future of WWE. Whether the fans agree with Roman being in the main event of WrestleMania against Brock Lesnar or not, WWE needs to stay the original course and not tarnish Roman Reigns' main event run in WWE before it truly gets underway. If WWE is looking for a different plan come WrestleMania, then they need not look further than Seth Rollins. If WWE wants to create a WrestleMania moment worth remembering, then I think there is merit in having Brock Lesnar retain against Roman Reigns at 'Mania only to have Rollins cash in and take the title. They could also find a way to have Roman win the title (possibly by Heyman betraying Lesnar) and, as Roman is getting booed out of the building, have Rollins cash in and ruin Roman's moment by winning the title. No matter how they do it, I think a Rollins cash in and title win at the end of WrestleMania is the best way for WWE to go.
  2. After Bray Wyatt's promo on SmackDown where he said that he "fears nothing, living or dead", it made me think; is it outside the realm of possibility that we could see Bray vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania? Doing Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler at WrestleMania is definitely the best case scenario for both of them. They can put on a show-stealing match like they seemingly want to do and it will also give the very vocal Daniel Bryan fans something to cheer for that will actually live up to the hype. On Dolph's end, it's the best way to get a spot on the card as, let's face it, there's not really any other spot for him on the WrestleMania card otherwise unless he's involved in a battle royal or other multi-person match.

  5. That's your opinion. Plenty of people were having fun with it until you group of angry men decided to kill the thread.
  6. There's no reason to end this thread. The game was going good, so I will start with the last legitimate name (Sonny Siaki): Incognito
  7. Oops, my bad. :lol Rocco Rock
  8. According to Wikipedia, her ring name has always been ODB. What it stood for was always implied, so let's go with the second one :P Irwin R. Schyster
  9. For the sake of continuity, I changed my answer to "Orlando Jordan" (it ends in the same letter, so no harm, no foul). Nunzio
  10. I got this idea from a YouTube video. The game is simple; one person posts a wrestler's ring name and the next person has to post a different wrestler's name beginning with the letter that the previous name ended with. For example, if someone posts "Hulk Hogan", then the next name has to begin with the letter "N". The only real rule is that the same ring name cannot be used twice, however, you can use different ring names even if they belong to the same person (for example, you can use "Mr. America" even if "Hulk Hogan" has already been used). Using names like "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan when Hulk Hogan has been used is not allowed. I'll get it started with Diamond Dallas Page (so the next name must begin with "E").

Because I have this kind of time, I counted up the releases and departures from WWE so far this year and, as of this post, 34 employees have been let go from the company. I think WWE would do well to save money by doubling the responsibilities of the people they already have hired. For example, have the ring announcer also serve as the timekeeper or just have one of the referees do it. Plus, in this day and age, couldn't they just have a bell that is controlled by a computer or something?

Yep. Never heard of any of those people and there is probably a good reason for that. I know I do it every time someone is released, but I think there are some people that WWE could save some money by letting go. One name that I always bring up because I always think he should be let go is Santino Marella. Now that Santino is retired from in-ring competition, his roles in WWE are limited and he is not really a necessary talent. Hornswoggle- Much like Santino, I can't believe that Hornswoggle is still employed. They have done everything they can with Hornswoggle and he serves no real purpose in WWE anymore. Heath Slater- They teased a turnaround for the Heath Slater character, but they didn't follow up on it. I expect WWE to keep Slater around to fill the jobber role, but I think he will be let go sooner or later. Emma- After her shoplifting incident that saw her released, but quickly re-hired, WWE is obviously not pushing Emma at all. Before the incident, they just had her palling around with Santino and it went nowhere. In my opinion, Emma is an entertaining character, but WWE does not seem to think much of her and she has to be on thin ice right now anyways. Los Matadores & El Torito- No matter how much JBL marks out about El Torito "twerking", the Los Matadores gimmick is rather lame and comes off as a desperate effort by WWE to make Primo & Epico entertaining when the fact of the matter is that El Torito is the "star" (I use that term loosely) of the group. Alex Riley- He failed as a wrestler and he failed as a commentator, so they turned him into "The Analyst" for the pre-show panels, but is he really a necessary employee? They could put just about anyone in that spot. There are a lot of guys in WWE who can't wrestle anymore who would make more sense in that spot who can lend actual credibility to what they have to say. Titus O'Neil- If you put Titus O'Neil and The Great Khali in a match against each other, you may very well have the worst match of all-time. Titus O'Neil works stiff, can't wrestle, and he certainly can't get over in any capacity. He's just another big guy with nothing more to offer the company than his size. The only reason I don't put Khali on this list is because I know that WWE will keep him around for as long as he can walk because of his size. Layla- After this angle with her and Summer Rae seeking revenge on Fandango, what's left for Layla to do? Her best days were when she was a part of LayCool and, let's face it, Summer Rae is no Michelle McCool. Being a former dancer can only get you so far in WWE. Alicia Fox- I don't really need to explain this one, do I? Alicia Fox can't wrestle, she can't act, she can't cut a promo and, most importantly, she can't get a reaction from the fans. They tried revamping the character and giving her a push, but they apparently gave up on that (or just did that in an attempt to make her brief feud with Paige interesting). She's not a Total Diva, so there's no reason to keep her around.

What makes you think that? I'm a bit surprised that Josh Mathews and Ricardo Rodriguez were released. Mathews wasn't anything incredible by any means, but he was a decent enough commentator and he was a good prop for a Superstar to get heel heat by beating him up. Even though WWE turned him into a Spanish commentator, I think Rodriguez could have had a much better role in the company. He was a great mouthpiece for Del Rio (the RVD thing was just awkward) and made for some good comedy relief. I just wonder if this is the beginning of WWE cutting commentators. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the lesser known and even less cared about commentators to be let go like Tom Philips or Tony Dawson. I know better than to think that a guy like Lawler would be let go, but I can still hope.
