  1. Gone Girl A lot of people are saying it's just David Fincher self indulgent tripe. They're wrong. It's good. A little long and not an overall great film and nowhere near Fincher's best, but it has some nice swerves and some really good acting. The pacing is a little slow but the story required smouldering. Fincher can get great performances out of anyone, even Tyler Perry. Worth a one time watch. Bottom of the list as far as the recent films I've watched, but I've been lucky with my choices. Like I said, this is just good. I can see why some didn't like it, but saying it's self indulgent is a stretch. Ben Affleck's best film is still Phantoms. Boyhood next.

  3. Had an animated movie fest so to speak tonight starting with - Son of Batman The story of Bruce meeting his son Damian who becomes the newest Robin. It was pretty good actually. Deathstroke was awesome and it had some really cool Man-Bat action as well. Best bit for me was the interaction between Damian and Nightwing. Great stuff. Justice League: Throne of Atlantis That's right! Two weeks before the release I was treated to a "special viewing." Get on my level comic nerds. I'm not a massive fan of the New52 stuff but I love the DC animated movies. They're always entertaining and well cast voice wise. If you liked Justice League: War, you'll like this one. The animation style is a bit over the top but still crisp and really clean looking. I like it. Both War and Throne of Atlantis are very good but still not as good as Justice League: Doom was. That one still stands out as my favorite followed by the throwback New Frontier. If you like comics, comic book movies, and comic book cartoons, then check these both out. I'm sure you'll like 'em. Next up for me is Boyhood followed by Gone Girl. I've been trying to get caught up on the "must see" films. Oscar season always gets me hype for watching a variety of films.

  5. As much as I liked Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums, I honestly think it was my favorite Wes Anderson film. It's just so damn good. Beautiful story, amazing cast, brilliant set and costume design, and a wonderful script with great dialog. It's funny and very touching just like other Anderson films. An instant favorite.
  6. The Grand Budapest Hotel. Nothing short of goddamn delightful. I loved it.
  7. http://i.imgur.com/4xXsSyd.png ...kinda xD There were a few shots that legit dropped my jaw. Some of the best camera work I've seen in ages. There was editing involved but it was very very clever editing. It's rare for a film to not only keep me riveted but to keep me guessing from the open to the credits. I feel like there's a lot to learn from this film too which is great for me. Means I get to watch it until I've had my feel and if I'm being honest, I have a hunger for this film. I can already tell it's gonna be a weekly watch for me for quite awhile. There's not a lot of films that I think are great, as well as critically successful that have a high re playability factor with me. Take 12 Years a Slave for example. Brilliant film that hits ALL the emotional notes and won critical acclaim of the highest honors that I thoroughly enjoyed. It's also one I never have to watch or ever want to watch again.
  8. Okay... Birdman wasn't just better than Nightcrawler, it's one of the best films I've seen in a long time. It was start to finish amazing and yeah, Keaton for sure gave the performance of a lifetime. It was actually brilliantly acted all around and oh my god that cinematography! Easily top film of 2014 hands down and one I'll for sure be watching again. Birdman, Birdman, Birdman, Birdman, Birdman, Birdman.
  9. 12 Years a Slave... Jesus. = ( Deserves all the awards and then some. Tragically beautiful. Brilliantly acted. Made me thankful I was born when and where I was. Birdman next!
  10. Battle of the Five Armies. People can say what they like about The Hobbit films, but I loved 'em. They're not LotR, not even close, but they're very good still. Lots of feels packed into the last twenty minutes and only one proper ending. :lol
  11. I've got Birdman on my short list of things to watch. It looks really good. Also, watch Nightcrawler! :lol
  12. THE FIRST TRAILER IS HERE! http://i.imgur.com/F7Z1IrF.png JUST KIDDING! [video=youtube;xInh3VhAWs8] So what do youse guize think?
  13. I don't remember the network having Raw and Smackdown? Of course I didn't pay very much attention. I'll probably resub for the Rumble and Mania just out of curiosity.
  14. Nightcrawler again. It's awesome in every way. I highly recommend it.
  15. I'm not sure but I think that might be photoshopped.

  17. Alexandra Daddario could be The other Jessica... Jessica Drew, maybe?
  18. You are aware that the total length of the video you posted is 1:30 seconds, you enormous troll? One more f*cking word about lens flare and I start deleting posts. Come up with a better, more convincing argument like Johnny... or literally anyone else alive does or GTFO.
