  1. Chris Wood Dschinghis Khan - "Dschinghis Khan" I hate disco. I'm sorry, I just do. That said, I listened to this twice. It's so goddamn catchy and makes for a great entrance theme. The music is classic disco, the lyrics are very simply even in a foreign language and while they may be repetitive, that's keeping to the classic disco genera. I would listen to this and enjoy it anytime it was played but wouldn't actively seek it out or play it myself. It's silly and fun. 6/10 Donatan & Cleo - My Slowianie (We Are Slavic Girls) Slavic girls are smokin' hot and this song it pretty baller. I obviously don't understand the words but that doesn't keep it from being catchy. The beat is pretty good; I love the accordion and strings mixed in. It gives it that ethnic flare that makes this track somewhat endearing. Again, not a song or group I would actively seek, but I enjoyed it. Bonus point for the boobs. 7/10
  2. This. So much this. I'm a diehard Sabertooth fan and Liev Schreiber did an amazing job. I still watch that movie from time to time. Besides the TERRIBLE Gambit and whatever that thing was they fought at the end, I actually really like it. I hope this film gets an R rating and does amazing at the box office. That'll lead the way for lots more "adult oriented" comic book characters getting films.
  3. Giggles Carmina Burana ~ O Fortuna | Carl Orff ~ André Rieu I'm with Megs on this. These days it's used to hock merchandise. That's when music ceases to be music and becomes a jingle. A shitty corporate jingle that remindes people they need to put chemicals under their arms so the don't offend anyone else with their stench. the 13 year old me who discovered this in the film Excalibur would give this a 10/10, but the best the me of today can come up with for this is a 2/10. I literally never want to hear this ever again. The 3 Tenors O Sole Mio 1994 I was hoping mobsters would have busted in and started shooting up the place. That didn't happen. I'm sad now. Same as the above really. One point per dude. 3/10
  4. Great job, Ed! Even the man Jesus is getting in on the action. [video=youtube;gXcptsz5j4k]
  5. Sometimes Mean White Boy Bobby Rammstein - Moskau Being a sucker for anything remotely industrial, I'm pretty familiar with Rammstein so I've heard this song before. I love the angry open and how the song becomes tempered by the female vox. It's hard to not get pumped listening to this band. They have an emotional quality that appeals to me and this song's got that in spades. I wouldn't call it my favorite Rammstein song, but it's far from their worst. I really like the female backing vocals, so much that I had to comment on them twice. 7/10 Asian Kung-Fu Generation - Flashback Oh yeah this is totally like the Japanese Bad Religion just not as intense. I love me some Bad Religion so I'm totally okay with this. It was short enough to have been a great choice for last clubs Sprint and Marathons picks in the sprint category. So short in fact that I had to give it a second listen and didn't mind at all. There's a lot of energy there but like I said, not as much as Bad Religion, but that's good. No one likes a copycat. The singer is pretty good and briefly shows off his range. The rest of the band is very competent. The little bridge or "breakdown" reminds me of something else I can't quite place. Overall this was pretty good. Would listen again. 7/10
  6. "...and devastation is the answer."
  7. What was surprising was the fact that I didn't hate it. I may even check out some of their other stuff out of curiosity and what you said about Metallica was hammer hitting nail right on the head. Some of my very favorite metal is sludge and a lot of it is far from serious. Anthrax is my favorite thrash band and everyone knows how fun and silly they are so I'm totally with you on that. Still didn't care for the dancing but it's at least better than that hardcore dancing garbage. :lol
  8. You're right, Megz, I shouldn't have said it's not metal. That was pretty snobby in retrospect. It's for sure music, just not music I like. I was surprised that I didn't straight up hate it as much as I thought I would. It's silly and fun and I scored it as such. I don't think I was unfair at all and I'm not saying anyone said I was. They're way better than Slipknot :lol
  9. Shut up, Megz BABYMETAL - Gimme chocolate!! I've been avoiding this "band" purely from the gimmick along so this will be the first I've heard them. I'm honestly not looking forward to this at all. Here we go... Well... it's starting off okay. The music's not bad. Don't care for the dancing at all.... until they opened their mouths... I'd gladly trade the vox for more dancing. Christ, people like this? I mean, I can see and somewhat understand the novelty of the gimmick being a draw, but people actually like this unironically? The solo was okay but it sounded to synthy for my taste. Yeah, I don't really hate this as much as I thought I would. It's not good and I don't care what they call themselves, it's not metal, but I don't hate it, I just don't like it. I guess it would be okay for an anime theme or something but as just a stand alone band or group I wouldn't listen to it. Ever. I will give it a bonus point for the gimmick. Still better than Slipknot. 5/10 Dir En Grey - "Hageshisa To, Kono Mune No Naka De Karamitsuita Shakunetsu No Yami" I've actually seen a live performance from these guys and really liked it. I've even seen this video a few times. Musically they're very good and somewhat unique. The singer is a f*cking maniac and SUPER talented. Like Mookie said, I have no idea how long this kids vox can hold out without him doing himself permanent damage. Hopefully a long time because this is straight up killer and way WAY better than Megz' first choice. The only thing about this track I didn't like was the duration. It wasn't anywhere near as long as I would have liked. Short and to the very brutal point. 7/10
  10. He said ROOLZ ARE ROOLZ, Gringo. Nothing we can do now but try to get him grounded.
  11. That's bullshite, Mookie! I'm telling mom!
  12. I has question. Can we use a song that has some english in it if the majority is still in a foreign language?
  13. It really took me awhile to warm up to Matt Smith. I like him, but nowhere near as much as David Tennant who was my first real proper Doctor. I watched a few episodes of Tom Baker when I was a kid on PBS but that was it. I honestly wasn't a Doctor Who fan until Tennant so that's probably why it took me awhile to warm up to Smith. That said, I really liked Christopher Eccleston's Doctor when I went back and watched that season. I thought he had a lot of potential. I would have liked to have seen at least one more season with him.
  14. I was nominated again but yeah, no. I will donate again though.
  15. We live in a word now where if you don't think a male character should be female you have to defend yourself or people will think you're sexist. The price of progress I guess. I'm not sexist either. I'd love to see a female Doctor with massive tits and an ass you want to bite into.
  16. Yeah... no. The ladies are always saying how cute the last two Doctors were so it's only fair us guys get a little eye candy. I mean, fair is fair right? Geeky, yes. Straight up bull lesbian... no. :lol
  17. I wouldn't be surprised if 13 ends up being a girl. I like the show but haven't been invested at all really since Tennant so it's not a big deal to me at all. How would you long time fans(I started watching in 2011 so I'm still a super nub when it comes to the Doctor) react? Would you be upset that the last generation was so totally different to anything prior? Would you embrace it? Would you say it's just more pandering to the female demographic and ruing your childhood? Would it be better or worse if 13 was a black guy instead of a woman? Just really curious. I don't think we've had this discussion before.
  18. Estoy en éste since I'm a baller and finished a club I wasn't even entered in.
  19. Dude! That was brutal! Well... if we're sharing our humiliation, I'll post mine since not everyone here is a subber or on my facebook friends list. [video=youtube;xWMGLaKFI70]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWMGLaKFI70&list=UUaM33WiiwT0kz-VeQl4E2Nw
