It's a fine lower-card gimmick. It's Santino for women. It'll never be big, but unless you're Lita then a woman never will be (sexist wrestling fans, etc).

The fact that Sting has opened discourse with WWE in recent years makes me believe it will happen. Maybe not this year and possibly not even leading to a match. But I absolutely see Sting in some way being a part of WWE within the next couple of years.

It started picking up when Dusty Rhodes took the booking, but went nuclear when Scott D'amore was brought in. He did a great job with it because he realised that they could make money by putting on such great PPV events that word of mouth would bump up replay numbers (which did in fact happen). Then Russo took over and TNA went down the sh*tter.

On the best year of TNA, 2005 until Angle debuted. Angle's debut sadly coincided with Russo sh*tting the place up, but for about a year before that, TNA was amazing. Even Jeff Jarrett as champion couldn't completely ruin it.

Wrestling is long overdue the return of Bobby "The Starer" Lashley, but the head is too small. Holly was my first thought too.

When you're unable to pay HULK HOGAN on time, you shouldn't even consider worrying about lower card workers and such. Sounds heartless, but HULK HOGAN. It'd be like WWF in 1998 skipping a month of Steve Austin's wages but jumping through hoops to make sure that Mens Teioh got paid.

As BryAlv put it, "when it rains, it pours" for TNA right now. Just aren't catching a break. Part of me wonders if Bischoff is going to make a power play for the company to take it from Bob Carter before he pulls the plug.

Wouldn't shock me in the slightest. Tall, broad, experienced, always had a good 'rep' that gets people hired no matter what their level of talent. I can see WWE taking him on for SmackDown.

It's an amalgamation of two existing belts, and looks like Rocko from Rocko's Modern Life. NJPW have the crown for best belt designs, although I loved the ones done for Strikeforce.

TNA will live as long as Spike TV wants it. If they only have three wrestlers on the show, Spike will show it if Spike wants it and TNA will deliver. But we've known for ages that TNA makes f*ck-all money, no matter what anyone says.

Doesn't shock me. Scott Hall has tweeted a fair few times about there being disruptions and certain people being dicks in the house.

Umm... Regarding reports online that the Briscoes are done with Ring of Honor, we can confirm that they have been written out of storylines per the latest set of TV tapings. However, online reports that this has to do with Sinclair officials being upset about ROH Champion Jay's controversial tweets a month or so back are incorrect. The reason Briscoe vs. Briscoe for the title was booked last weekend in what seemed like a rushed storyline (one would have presumed brother vs. brother for the belt would have taken place further down the road) is that for whatever reason (and right now I don't know what the reason was, but there are people who believe there was a WWE deal on the table) the plan was to write them out of storylines after this iPPV. These plans were made long before Jay made any tweets, and according to a source in ROH the tweets had absolutely nothing to do with the current situation. It is true that their contracts have expired, and while I don't know this to be the case, there are people in the company who believe that unless they get a big money offer from WWE or elsewhere, at some point they'll be back with the company. Colt doesn't have to support ROH's decision to put a DVD of him, but he does have to remember that ROH management has changed since he left. Sensibilities change. Plus, it's their owned footage so they can do as they wish with it. That said, Colt is awesome solely due to his podcast which is fantastic.
