  1. Kinda let this thread slide, so apologies for that. Anyway, the November line up is as follows -: Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture (PS4) The Deadly Tower of Monsters (PS4) Dirt 3 (PS3) Costume Quest 2 (PS3) Letter Quest Remastered (PS Vita - cross-buy with PS4) Pumped BMX+ (PS Vita - cross-buy with PS4 and PS3) That's technically four games for PS4 owners to sink their teeth into.
  2. Aye; you're probably right. From a PR-standpoint too, it creates a good image for WWE overall. The promo Dallas cut to announce Foley wouldn't be there included a comment about how WWE are allowing Foley to appear via videolink and "they didn't have to do that" (which got an applause from the ICW crowd).
  3. Does anyone know if ICW have a working relationship with WWE (they obviously have one with EVOLVE)? I only ask because Foley was going to be at F&L9, but has been replaced with Finn Balor (replete with Demon image used in promo material).
  4. The WCW guy went over in the first match, Negative Nelly, so Brock going over here would just even it up. They're most likely going to do the aborted Becky v Bliss title match.
  5. WWE.COM has an article up about the new recruits (including Roderick Strong), with mentions for EVOLVE, Progress, wXw, ROH, PWG, ICW, SCW, Hammerlock, Dragon Gate, NJPW, Big Japan and TNA, plus Gulf Coast Wrestling Alliance and HXC Wrestling. They really have got a new attitude when it comes to name-checking other promotions. EDIT - They also have a video.
  6. OOOOOH!!! [spoiler=Who got got?]I figured Abraham would go (logic being he was the biggest and looked most capable of Rick's "lieutenants" - ergo, Negan takes out the most potentially threatening member of the gang, while also making his point), but then I saw Rick had no blood on his face and thought someone else was going to get it. Of course, that led to Negan swinging the bat and getting blood on Rick, so then I figured they put that in as a bait-and-switch... only for Daryl to punch him. "Oh shit, Daryl's getting it" said I... only for Glenn to get got in visually brutal fashion. A lot of people online are moaning about it, mainly because a lot of people online do nothing but moan about things, but I really enjoyed this episode.
  7. I think this is definitely the driving factor; the image that all of these other promotions are places where wrestlers get ready to be "promoted" to WWE can only be a great perception for the company to project.
  8. There's a lot to look forward to, especially as this is the first game Rockstar have developed with the current-gen as the priority, so they'll have a lot more to work with (GTAV is great, but that is still an remastered PS3 game).
  9. I like that the one "controller" can be split for couch multiplayer, plus the kickstand for having is stay upright on its own while on the go is a nice touch too.
  10. Holy crap; the visuals here are amazing.

    Problems at TNA?

You have to wonder what the wrestlers will be making of it, seeing as how there must be a great chance they'll not get paid either.
  12. It's seems like you have missed out as that is the game's coda.
  13. WWE.COM have an article up about the recent signings. Three internationally acclaimed Superstars have arrived at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla., to begin training. Tom Budgen, Damian Mackle and Sarah Bridges — known around the world as Tommy End, Big Damo and “Crazy” Mary Dobson, respectively — are among the newest signees to WWE developmental contracts. Their official start in Orlando comes after months of speculation that all three were on their way to WWE and NXT. http://www.wwe.com/f/styles/talent_champion_xl/public/all/2016/10/Progress_Chapter-28_463--6f47133bb7aeda3e06ec7f800426dead.jpg Tom Budgen (pictured above) is a 14-year veteran from Amsterdam who boasts an extensive background in kickboxing and pencak silat, a class of Indonesian martial arts that involves grappling, striking and weapon fighting. Trained by the likes of Chris Hero, Nigel McGuinness and MMA pioneer Bob Schrijber, “The Anti-Hero” has emerged as one of wrestling’s most prolific and dangerous strikers, a tatted, black-metal mutilator whose kicks, elbows and knees threaten to cave in skulls. Budgen competed across Europe, Japan and the U.S., including with EVOLVE Wrestling, London’s PROGRESS Wrestling, Germany’s Westside Xtreme Wrestling and California’s Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. http://www.wwe.com/f/styles/talent_champion_xl/public/all/2016/10/Progress---Chapter-29_22--565f29fb659ec511db43cbcd2f6a728d.jpg Damian Mackle comes to the Performance Center from Northern Ireland, where the barrel-chested brute is called “The Beast of Belfast.” Inspired by local hero and legendary tough man Fit Finlay, Mackle made his ring debut in 2005, and has studied under former WWE Universal and NXT Champion Finn Bálor and current NXT coach Robbie Brookside. At 6-foot-3 and more than 300 pounds, Mackle was a premier super-heavyweight on the independent scene, having wrestled under the banners of U.K.-based Insane Championship Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling and New England-based Beyond Wrestling, among other organizations. He has also locked horns with Samoa Joe and NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in the past. http://www.wwe.com/f/styles/talent_champion_xl/public/all/2016/10/CraMaryDobsonPosing14%5B3%5D--6ac96a7d3f02ad102154f2ae10697099.jpg Indiana native Sarah Bridges, meanwhile, brings nearly brings nearly five years’ experience to the WWE Performance Center. Only 23 years old, Bridges has toured throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe, as well as Japan, where she also lived and trained under former WWE Superstar Taka Michinoku. Initially carving her niche in the hardcore-wrestling circuit, Bridges has competed in Shimmer Women Athletes, Shine Wrestling and Ring of Honor. She is often recognized for her war paint and for entering the ring in an eerie hockey mask straight out of “Friday the 13th.” Outside of wrestling, Bridges trains in Olympic weightlifting and has won several competitions. 15. With regards to your spoiler, deeser, word is that the game is going to be set before the time of the last game (if not a direct prequel). Especially with the last game's time-frame being at the end of the Old West and... Some sites have been analysing the "Magnificent Seven" shot and spotted that three of them look remarkably like Marston, Dutch and Bill from RDR.
  16. Trailer drops on the 20th, with the game due for release in "Fall 2017"... WOO-HOO!!
  17. First there was this... http://i68.tinypic.com/w9eatj.jpg ... which got pulses quickening due to the way the colour was used being evocative of RDR, but could have been a number of things overall. However, earlier today, Rockstar posted another image... http://i63.tinypic.com/iwi2h4.jpg ... and this one is unmistakably Red Dead in some form. Some sites are hinting it could be a remaster (although with the original only just going backward-compatible for XBox One, it seems redundant), while others are adamant it is a brand new game, though could be a prequel. Either way, there is definitely some Red Dead news to come.

    Problems at TNA?

Some brighter news as TNA released a teaser for an upcoming faction. Spoilers below if you want to know who is under the masks and what the group is calling themselves. [spoiler=Who are these guys?]The faction is three-men strong (at least for now) and call themselves Death Count Council. Comprising the trio is a repackaged James Storm (reportedly the beer-drinking cowboy character is completely binned), Bram and Eddie Kingston. The latter was at the PC last week for a tryout (replete with a relatively large mention in a WWE.COM article), so it either didn't work out or he decided, for some unknown reason (especially considering the current climate there) that TNA was the better offer). No idea if it'll work for any great length of time, but at least it's something new.

  22. No they don't; they only ever refer to him as Cody. The only time the Rhodes name is mentioned is after Brandi - "Cody and Brandi Rhodes." It's a clever piece of wordplay, but TNA are not (and cannot) bill him as Cody Rhodes. The way the announcers mentioned them is the same as if it were, for example, Cesaro and Bray Wyatt ("Look, it's Cesaro and Bray Wyatt"). The way it is said could be construed as them both having the same surname and it was clever of TNA to do it. If you listen to the commentary, the only time Rhodes is mentioned is after Brandi's name.

    Top 5 comedy characters?

That's true; though (for example) Ronnie Corbett and Ronnie Barker were also both funny solo, while Lenny & Carl only really work together so I'm taking them as a single entity and... ner-ner-ner-ner-ner!
