How DARE the UFC try to run a main event with the two highest drawing female fighters in MMA history! WON'T SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE RANKINGS?

There's only two options really, it's either the much talked about fight with Cyborg, or the less talked about, much less likely, much less competitive, but theoretically bigger fight with Gina Carano.

Rampage and King Mo both won their semi finals in Bellator (King Mo's was horrendously boring, Jackson knocked out a French guy), then they had a pull-apart brawl in the cage during Rampage's post fight interview. In what I'm sure is unrelated news both King Mo and Rampage are huge pro wrestling fans.

I think they're airing hour 1 of the show next week and hour 2 the week after in the usual NXT timeslots. See the show if you can, really entertaining from start to finish. Only negative was Paige's ridiculous amount of make-up.

There's a show in China on Saturday, live on UFC Fight Pass (what do you mean you don't have it?) but it's on BT at 9pm.

Just for the record, the first ever show under the new bonus structure saw the show tie for the most decisions ever on one card (10 out of 12), and the Performance of the Night bonuses went to Erick Silva and Charles Oliveira who would have won KO of the Night and Submission of the Night by default as they had the only KO/Submission on the card. Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come.

Yeah it was pretty much a non-starter and the main event in particular was a big let down. Just be thankful we only saw the main card, every single preliminary fight went to a decision as well. Thankfully Sexy Erick Silva stopped it from being a complete borefest.

I liked the KOTN and SOTN bonuses in the sense that a guy on the prelims earning 8-16k for his fight, could end up tripling or quadrupling his money for a fantastic submission or a knock out. I'm all for rewarding good performances, I just hope they distribute them fairly and not just to the guys already earning enough to cover their expenses and live comfortably.

We all get frustrated with it, but I don't think being bad at a vocabulary board game is reason to threaten someone's life.

The only female TUF winner Juliana Pena managed to tear her ACL, MCL, PCL, meniscus and hamstring all in one go. She's likely to miss at least two years of action, but I'd be thinking that she might never fight again after that much damage.

The best idea would be to copy WWF 1996 and call up Corey Graves as "Fake CM Punk". I stole that from somewhere else but I found it amusing.

I just wonder if the PPVs being on the Network has something to do with this. I would imagine the contract Punk signed in 2011 got him a significant PPV cut, and if the PPVs (especially WrestleMania) aren't going to be generating specific income then he's losing a massive amount of his contracted income from it. If that is the case then at that point it's hard to not feel sympathy for him, why would anyone stay in a job where they're not getting paid what their contract states?

I'm pretty sure the terms of the TV contract means the UK will get the London show on BT Sport even if Fight Pass is out in the UK by March, but I doubt we'll be getting TUF Brazil.

I don't think this will be a crowd like last night's, it's a completely different city and the Rumble doesn't have the same "fan stayover" pattern as the post Mania RAW.

I enjoyed the show, Wyatt/Bryan was superb, Lesnar looked scary, Orton/Cena was great thanks to the crowd, and I love the Royal Rumble regardless of the result. I realise why people are angry, and I agree with them, but some of the "conspiracy theory" or "hate the fans" nonsense has got to stop. Bryan was not advertised for the Rumble, the day before he said he was not in the Rumble, he was lucky to even be able to have the match with Wyatt after his concussion. We all wanted Bryan to win, he probably should have, but he didn't, it's not the end of the world, and in the end it's the WWE who will lose money because of it. And people who are saying "El Torito/JBL/R-Truth got an entry, why didn't Bryan?". Batista was always winning from the moment he signed his new contract, if anything keeping Bryan out saved him from just being eliminated. Random Rumble notes: Alexander Rusev looked tremendous and his new music is awesome. Call this guy up now. With Lana though. Kofi's leap was great. JBL's commentary reaction after his elimination was terrific. "WHAT NUMBER IS BATISTA COMING IN?" Great Khali really needs to stop... moving. He looks like he's in so much pain. El Torito was really good fun. Poor Kane, he couldn't stay out of camera shot. Roman Reigns is going to be a megastar. I am aware this is not breaking news.

I loved Couture vs. Toney purely because the fans weren't just supporting Couture, they were supporting the entire sport of MMA against this boxing outsider who had insulted what they love.

Bellator are planning on trying to run a PPV again, because it went so smoothly last time. Headlining would be Alvarez/Chandler III where if Alvarez wins he joins the UFC as the Bellator champion. And if Alvarez loses he joins the UFC too. I'm guessing they have to make it a PPV because Alvarez signed the contract Bellator offered with the hilarious idea of a PPV cut which he didn't get for his last fight when they cancelled the PPV. They're also doing a tournament with Quinton Jackson and Mo Lawal in alternate semi-finals with the hope they will meet in the final, because they have to do their wacky tournaments instead of just BOOKING QUINTON JACKSON VS. MO LAWAL.
