  1. I'm pretty sure DC (the comic makers and not our resident pedant) has spoken about how the Nolan Batman films aren't going to play into the JLA universe. Like, Bale isn't going to be back to direct (he's stayed on as a producer but that seems to be so advertising can brag "produced by CHRISTOPHER NOLAN the DIRECTOR of THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY") and people were flipping their lids because they assumed Jo-Go Levitt was going to be Bats in the JLA film but that, at the time of release, was untrue as well because they just threw the cheeky reveal in there to mess with the fans.

I'm not 100% but it seems likely because, if the Nolan films were going to play into it then DC certainly would have announced official plans for JLA (release dates for their pre-JLA films, some casting maybe) with Dark Knight Rises release last year instead of flailing in the water like they are just now. To consider that they are talking about 2015 and going head-to-head with Avengers 2 and yet have announced NOTHING official is crazy, especially when you compare to Marvel's Phase 2 (and even Phase 1). With all that in mind I'm expecting, with a huge opening weekend for MoS for DC to come out soon after announcing everything including a new, tone-correcting Batman film that steps away from Nolan's universe. Because, as Hancock says, the Nolan films make no sense in a JLA universe. None at all.

As it is with Man of Steel, I'm incredibly sceptical but boy-oh-boy do I like Michael Shannon. I mean, holy moly would I marry that man. He's absolutely one of the greatest things since sliced bread and I've tried sliced bread. Plus I like the music a lot so far especially the march-y "You are not a-lone" beat that appeared in the "Fate of your planet" trailer.

  2. Aww he's a real picky-d*ck as well. Out of everybody else (including DC who loves having his say), B-man is the guy who really likes to try and tell me how to book...

He's admitted to missing that side of things but we don't really have room for him and I think that annoys him a bit.

  3. I've never liked the Angle Slam as a finish, actually. It might partly be due to conditioning since its kicked out of so much, but it never looked all that impactful to me. You're just sort of lifted up and placed down behind the guy.

That depended for me - there are some great times where he just throws them round and nearly kills 'em, but yeah, I know exactly what you mean.

It's the type of move that I imagine there's a Japanese guy out there doing a thousand times better!

  4. That's exactly, EXACTLY what I'm going on about.

F*cking hell... I just can't stand it when discussion ends up wandering down that dark and cracked path of awful, stupid, unnecessary, unhelpful analytical f*cking moronicy of b*llocks rubbish.

Jeez, think I need to go for a wee walk or something.

  5. :tban :celb8: :jump CAN'T WAIT, CAN'T WAIT, CAN'T WAIT :jump :celb8: :tban

They say it in ways I can't even begin to put into words.

  6. Don't worry, they'll find another way to make Joe look absolutely ridiculous soon enough.

He's like the Jim Ross of TNA; ridiculously talented, loved by fans, but someone, somewhere, is absolutely dedicated to making him look like an idiot every week.

And I'm willing to put good money Scott Steiner's got something to do with it.

  7. Power Slam magazine have the weirdest grudges. I mean, I understand the Cena one, they're smarks, even though its, you know, not 2005. But they hate, like, Chris Jericho, for what reason I cant fathom. Weird dudes.

    Yeah, totally agree with this.

Then Fighting Spirit - which admittedly I haven't read in ages cause, well, there's the internet - was just SO anti-WWE it was embarrassing.

Uch, personal tastes and all that but they're totally moronic.

  8. Sad and happy to hear about Pope. He deserves better so I'm glad he'll almost certainly end up getting it, just sad that it won't be in a wrestling ring.

Glad, most of all, that the Joe stuff will be winding up. Thank goodness. Thank, thank goodness.
