    1. Dolores Umbridge: 27 Of Her Most Horrible Quotes!

There are some truly evil characters in Harry Potter. But not many of them can match Dolores Umbridge (we usually just call her SHE-WHO-MUST-NOT-BE-NAMED). Working for the Ministry of Magic, she was supposed to be on the good side of the fight! Instead, half of the time - she was trying to convince everyone that Voldemort hadn't returned - and the other half, was spent making Harry's life a living hell!
RELATED: Can You Solve These Harry Potter Riddles?
As much as we'd like, unfortunately - we'll never be able to completely forget her hideous, pink outfits. If only they were the worst thing about her. From firing Hagrid to attempting to use an Unforgivable Curse on Harry -
Here are 27 of the worst Dolores Umbridge quotes we could find:
The Cruciatus Curse ought to loosen your tongue [About Quidditch] Yes, Mr. Potter, I think a lifelong ban ought to do the trick Excellent, Draco, excellent, oh, very good — fifty points to Slytherin! I’m sure I must have misunderstood you, Professor Dumbledore, Filthy half-breeds!
Detention, Mr. Potter!” I am very much looking forward to getting to know you all, and I’m sure we’ll be very good friends! Tut, tut. That won’t do, now, will it? I should like you, please, to reply ‘Good afternoon, Professor Umbridge.’ One more time, please. Good afternoon, class! Are you a Ministry-trained educational expert, Miss Granger? “I want you to write ‘I must not tell lies’
I am here to help. I am your friend. And now, you will kindly continue your reading. Page five, ‘Basics for Beginners.’ Come here, Mr. Potter, dear. “Oh no, no, no. This is your punishment for spreading evil, nasty, attention-seeking stories, Mr. Potter, and punishments certainly cannot be adjusted to suit the guilty one’s convenience. Well then, I’m afraid you are not qualified to decide what the ‘whole point’ of any class is. Wizards much older and cleverer than you have devised our new program of study. You applied first for the Defense Against the Dark Arts post, I believe? (Umbridge). Yes (Snape). But you were unsuccessful? (Umbridge). Obviously (Snape).
Very well. In that case, you will kindly tell me the whereabouts of Sirius Black. I was just wondering whether Mr. Potter has quite the temperament for an Auror? No, I don’t think so, Mr. Potter. The Ministry places a rather higher value on my life than yours, I’m afraid. Ah, Professor Snape. Yes, I would like another bottle of Veritaserum, as quick as you can, please. Well, it looks as though Hogwarts will shortly be a Weasley-free zone, doesn’t it?
Very well, Mr. Potter . . . I offered you the chance to tell me freely. You refused. I have no alternative but to force you. Potter has no chance whatsoever of becoming an Auror! You are being deliberately unhelpful! I expected better, Lucius Malfoy always speaks most highly of you! Now get out of my office! What is Padfoot? Where what is hidden? What does he mean, Snape? What Cornelius doesn’t know won’t hurt him. Idiot girl, Dumbledore won’t be sitting in a pub when the whole Ministry’s looking for him! Well, then, I am confused. . . . I’m afraid I don’t quite understand how you can give Mr. Potter false hope. More Stuff You’ll Like

    2. The 28 Best Dobby Quotes From Harry Potter

There are a lot of gut-wrenching deaths in Harry Potter. Sirius, Dumbledore, Fred, Lupin - why J.K. Rowling, why! But out of all the characters who lost their lives, for us, Dobby's will always be the saddest. It hurt then and it still stings to this day! He made the ultimate sacrifice to protect Harry and his friends (and it went down in the place where he was magically enslaved for years.)
RELATED: Can You Figure Out These Harry Potter Riddles?
He was funny, selfless, and most important of all - a free house-elf. Here are 28 of our favorite Dobby quotes.
[Talking about Dumbledore] He said we is free to call him a — a barmy old codger if we likes, sir! Draco Malfoy is a bad boy! Kreacher will not insult Harry Potter in front of Dobby, no he won't, or Dobby will shut Kreacher's mouth for him! Dobby is a free house-elf and he can obey anyone he likes and Dobby will do whatever Harry Potter wants him to do! Dobby would be honoured to help Harry Potter! Dobby has come to rescue you. Dobby has no master! Dobby is a free elf, and Dobby has come to save Harry Potter and his friends! Harry... Potter.... Dobby does it all himself, sir, but Dobby does not mind, for he always hopes to meet Harry Potter and tonight, sir, he has got his wish! Dobby heard tell of it from the other house-elves when he came to Hogwarts, sir. It is known by us as the Come and Go Room, sir, or else as the Room of Requirement! Dobby has heard of your greatness, sir, but of your goodness, Dobby never knew… But Dobby has come to protect Harry Potter, to warn him, even if he does have to shut his ears in the oven door later… Harry Potter must not go back to Hogwarts Harry Potter must stay where he is safe. He is too great, too good, to lose. If Harry Potter goes back to Hogwarts, he will be in mortal danger. There is a plot, Harry Potter. A plot to make most terrible things happen at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry this year. Then Dobby must do it, sir, for Harry Potter’s own good. Dobby is used to death threats, sir. Dobby gets them five times a day at home. If he knew what he means to us, to the lowly, the enslaved, we dregs of the magical world! Master threw it, and Dobby caught it, and Dobby — Dobby is free. You shall not harm Harry Potter! Harry Potter set Dobby free! But Dobby hasn’t found work, sir, because Dobby wants paying now! But most wizards doesn’t want a house-elf who wants paying, miss. ‘That’s not the point of a house-elf,’ they says, and they slammed the door in Dobby’s face! Dobby likes work, but he wants to wear clothes and he wants to be paid, Harry Potter. . . . Dobby likes being free! And so Dobby is a free elf, sir, and Dobby gets a Galleon a week and one day off a month! but Dobby beat him down, miss. . . . Dobby likes freedom, miss, but he isn’t wanting too much, miss, he likes work better. Tis part of the house-elf’s enslavement, sir. We keeps their secrets and our silence, sir. We upholds the family’s honor, and we never speaks ill of them. “Dobby is going to buy a sweater next, Harry Potter!” Dobby knew sir must be a great wizard, for he is Harry Potter’s greatest friend, but Dobby did not know that he was also as generous of spirit, as noble, as selfless. 4. 35 Draco Malfoy Quotes From The Half-Blood Prince

Misunderstood. Deserving of a redemption arc. Some have even stretched to call him the true anti-hero of the story. When it comes to Draco Malfoy, one thing is for sure, he has amassed a legion of fans who continue to back him at every turn (perhaps much even to the chagrin of J.K.Rowling herself).
From his early beginnings as a child of privilege and the story's archetypal bully (think Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone), Draco undergoes some deep character growth and none more-so than in the turn of events in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Enlisted (or forced rather) to complete a dangerous mission for Voldemort, a more vulnerable, mature and gifted Draco is shown (he honed the ability to employ Occlumency which is by no means a trivial task).
Mal Foi, from the root of 'bad faith' or 'unfaithful', here are 35 quotes about everyone's most controversial and polarizing character -
"If you're wondering what the smell is, Mother, a Mudblood just walked in" "Who blacked your eye, Granger? I want to send them flowers" "Don't you dare talk to my mother like that, Potter!" "You know Fenrir Greyback? He's a family friend, he'll be dropping in from time to time to make sure you're giving the problem your full attention." "No, of course I wouldn't, you stupid little man, how would I look carrying that down the street? Just don't sell it." "Not a word to anyone, Borgin, and includes my mother, understand?" "He invited Longbottom?" "but that Weasley girl! What's so special about her?" "My father used to be a bit of a favorite of his" "I mean, I might not even be at Hogwarts next year" "I might have - er - moved on to bigger and better things." "Mother wants me to complete my education, but personally, I don't see it as that important these days." "it'll be all about the kind of service he received, the level of devotion he was shown." "Maybe the job he wants to do isn't something that you need to be qualified for" "That was you blocking the door when Zabini came back in, I suppose?" "That's from my father." "I don't reckon they'll find you till the train's back in London" "Sir, I think you knew my grandfather, Abraxas Malfoy?" "I was trying to gatecrash, happy?" "I know what you're doing, I'm not stupid, but it won't work - I can stop you!" "So put me in detention! Report me to Dumbledore!" "It's my job, he gave it to me and I'm doing it. I've got a plan and it's going to work, it's just taking a bit longer than I thought it would!" "I know what you're up to! You want to steal my glory!" "I've got back-up. There are Death Eaters here in your school tonight" "Right under your nose and you never realised!" You don't know what I'm capable of" "you don't know what I've done!" "It's you who should be scared!" "I had to mend that broken Vanishing Cabinet that no one's used for years." "The other's in Borgin and Burkes" "Well, you're losing your grip, then!" "Got there at last, have you?" "We decided to put the Dark Mark over the Tower and get you to hurry up here, to see who'd been killed" "He told me to do it or he'll kill me. I've got no choice." "But I got this far, didn't I?" More Stuff You’ll Like:

    5. 10 Draco Malfoy Quotes From The Deathly Hallows

We're back with another round of our Draco Malfoy quotes, taking a look at the seventh and final Harry Potter installment - The Deathly Hallows! (If you haven't already be sure to check out 35 Draco quotes from the Half-Blood Prince here).
RELATED: Can You Pass This Draco Malfoy Quiz?
There's certainly a lot to be said for the many fans who champion Draco's cause or who are at least sympathetic to his plight. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows brings a stark reality into focus for all of the Malfoy's; rather than re-establishing their standing within the Death Eater ranks (after many failures), they are subjected to complete ridicule and utter shame. It goes without saying of course that Draco is a true Slytherin through and through, possessing an abundance of natural deceit and malice, but we do have to wonder who he would have been without growing up in a household that revered the Dark Arts and sought a return of Lord Voldemort.
In the previous book (and movie) we start to see the outlines of a skilled and gifted wizard develop. He was able to employ Occlumency to shield his mind and also successfully used the Protean Charm (which Hermione inspired) to secretly communicate with his accomplice Madam Rosmerta. In both cases, these are advanced feats of magic. Yet a mere few months into the future, any continued development all but appears to have been stunted as he lives in constant fear for his life.

Regardless of where you stand on Draco's redemption and character, here are 10 of his best quotes from book 7:
"Stand back. Line up against the back wall. Don't try anything, or I'll kill you!" "That's my wand you're holding, Potter" "I virtually lived in the Room of Hidden Things all last year" "If you wreck the room, you might bury this diadem thing!" "Potter came in here to get it" "The Dark Lord wants him alive" "Don't kill him! "The door, get to the door, the door!" "What are you doing, what are you doing? The door's that way!" "I'm Draco Malfoy, I'm Draco, I'm on your side!" More Stuff You’ll Like:

"Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?" "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." "Youth can not know how age thinks and feels, but old men are guilty if they forget what it is to be young." More Stuff You’ll Like

      "Yes, sir," said Harry.
"well, well, take twenty well-earned points for Gryffindor, Miss Granger," said Slughorn genially.
