  1. Good point @ZackT because this is a trick I have used when playing on my PC. On the other hand, I don't think this would be a distraction unless you often play around other gamers.
  2. Have you ever watched a movie and thought that you had everything figured out, only for it to take a different turn? I love movies that pull a fast one on me and leave me mesmerized; those that make me glued to the screen up to the very end.
  3. Well, I understand your predicament, but again, the breathing could be arising from improper placement of the mic. Just like @ShadowEdge says, the kind of headset you use and the gaming platform could be having an impact.
  4. I get distracted too, but to be honest, it is the adrenaline rush, and an urge to do something when there is little time left that makes me procrastinate. It will be interesting to read about procrastination and its relation to perfectionism.
  5. To me, the issue of race is more sensitive and is most likely bound to make any audience uncomfortable. Stand-up comedy has been around for a while, but I don't see an end to it anytime soon.
  6. @Poppy Daniel Dubois is a great fighter and besides his great knockout-to-win ratio, he is the British heavyweight champion. It almost feels like there are a lot of prominent boxers out there who are only waiting for an opportunity to grace the big stage.
  7. Well, I will wait for the hype to slow down then maybe I can find time to watch it. The thing with these movies that are given a lot of coverage is that they can disappoint at times.
  8. Back in the day, it was common for musicians to take time to release albums but the music industry has really grown and changed over the years. We are seeing artistes attempting to write and release singles in a short time span and most of the time, these singles don't reach their full potential. Have things changed that much over time?
  9. Floyd Mayweather may not be a darling to many but I like the fact that he talks big outside the ring but remains very tactful and elusive inside it. He doesn't necessarily apply KOs and always aims to win. However, I don't like how he flaunts his wealth.
  10. He actually won three fights for real? I couldn't find any other clips on YouTube. However, I would also like to think that a professional boxer wouldn't throw punches like that. Maybe he intentionally 'lost' this fight.
  11. If you left your phone unattended in a room, there is a big chance that a stranger walking into the room would easily get hold of it and start snooping. If you were hanging out on a lazy afternoon and your partner's phone lit up with a notification, would you look away or get hold of the phone if you noticed it was a message from that hot coworker? Chances are most of us would get hold of the phone and invade another person's privacy!
  12. Interestingly, these 'odd couples' always find a way of making us glued to our favorite TV shows and perhaps this is what the directors and producers seem to have in mind? Penny really fitted into the role of a pretty but blonde girl and watching words coming out her mouth (in the show) can be annoying. You almost get the feeling that she could be the same girl in real life.

    Life Is Unfair

Well, I think that life gifts us differently and what we need to do is make the best out of what we have. People start making some comments by virtue of comparison.
  14. Well, irrespective of what I have read online (because everyone always has an opinion), I am definitely going to watch this movie. Will Smith is cast as a genie but I also suppose that there are certain elements of the original movie, that remain unchanged.

    The Old Love Songs

There is something about old songs in general and yes, you can listen to them over and over and not get tired. Though there are many different musical genres, I prefer organized music that can soothe the brain.

    The Old Love Songs

The turn of the millennium seems to have ushered in a whole paradigm shift is music. There are many new genres that I can’t a hang of now! Nothing beats the love songs from the 80’s and 90’s. I could listen to them over and over!
  17. You know such instances paint a picture of the situation out here; people are willing to borrow money yet they have a hard time repaying it. I find it hard to keep sending reminders to someone who’s unwilling/unable to repay a debt. The easiest way is normally to just cut-off such a relationship.
  18. The basic denominator in any kind of relationship is mutual respect. If you owe me money (irrespective of what amount this is) and cannot return it, how can you be entrusted with bigger things? For me, it takes a while to cut-off anybody. In such a case, I would brush it off but never lend this person any money in future.
  19. The stakes are definitely higher and yes there shouldn't be any room for error. I actually recall an instance when the wrong player was awarded a red card. The referee could hear none of the pleas from the player who had committed the foul. If implemented correctly, VAR will improve the game.
  20. I had to look up what Value At Risk means and I must admit that I had a completely different meaning in my head. The only downside of the Video Assistant Referee (IMO) is that it tends to slow the pace and rhythm of the game. On the other hand, it increases fairness and transparency. Without it's use in the Champions League, Manchester City would probably have advanced to the competition's semi final stage!

    Mortal Kombat

I also never got to play Mortal Kombat but it is justifiable to regard both MK and Street Fighter as tall standing pillars in the online game community.
  22. There are a bunch of people who either have no access to the internet or don’t know how to use a computer. However, I am yet to come across such people. The internet has become such a great part of our lives!

    Stress Relievers

Well, how I wish I was able to sleep soundly whenever there was something troubling my mind. Most times, I turn to music in order to soothe my mind. A cold beer helps me relax and figure things out but I avoid going this route at times.
  24. I rarely crave for any kind of meal(s) but given a choice, I’d always go for savoury foods. I have been keenly watching my weight and part of what I have had to forego are the sweet treats/sugary foods. Nonetheless, it took me quite a while to adjust.
  25. Music has and will always remain profitable and what matters is how much a musician puts in. Most of the successful musicians we see now have had a journey and competition keeps growing each passing day. I wouldn't classify good music in terms of genre because all good musicians would be singing in some type of way. I think that it has to do with producing music that is good to the ear and connects with a particular audience.
