  1. There are countless (good) books out there, so it depends on a reader's genre of preference. I am sure many such links exist, but in my view, finding an exhaustive list isn't easy.
  2. Without finding motivation, achieving a consistent exercise routine can become a difficult task. Internal motivation comes and goes depending on the specific area of our lives in question. A training partner can help us achieve our goals by keeping us accountable.
  3. The thing about visiting numerous websites and opening may tabs means that there will be lots of temporary files and cookies stored on your PC or laptop. You have to keep clearing these so that your computer doesn't lag.
  4. Yes, the pandemic has made people more aware and curious when it comes to discovering new things to do. I think the popularity of gaming will continue soaring with the subscription models making it affordable.
  5. Wow, how do you manage to keep track of all the tabs? I can work with a maximum of 3 windows but not more than 10 tabs. I close any that I am not using so I can work better.
  6. Sometime in 2019, Reed Hastings, the Netflix CEO, mentioned what he thought was the company's stiffest competition, and no one imagined it was going to be the video game Fortnite. The assumption was that cable television or movie theaters would feature somewhere. Do you think that instead of reaching for a TV remote, more people are now going for a game controller?
  7. Remember, you want a name that first-time visitors can recall and type in the shortest time possible. How about letsread.com or readingisfun.com? There are countless catchy names from which @Hendo can choose!
  8. It is so kind of you to look this up, but how about going for a shorter name? You want one that is catchy and easy to remember/type. It can be so tasking to choose a website name; I now understand why some people opt to outsource.
  9. I have never thought of writing a novel, but I assume it takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and commitment to do so. You may need to hire a few people to keep you on course.
  10. Wow, I had no idea there was a TV series bearing the same name. For how long did this show last? I remember watching The Fugitive and getting thrilled throughout the movie. Did you know that Ford is a trained pilot?
  11. If this bout ever takes place, whoever knocks the other out (pun intended) will have full bragging rights. It will be a fight decided, not by physical might, but by skill, tact, and psychological strength. Fury still has to fight Deontay Wilder, right?

    Zoom

Zoom is among the companies that have recently experienced a surge in revenue. Towards the end of March this year, Eric Yuan (founder of Zoom's Video Communications Inc.) had added $20 million to his net worth. His fortune (then) was estimated to be around $5.6 billion.
  13. The question then becomes, "what can we do to change things now and in the future?" We cannot deviate from industrialization, but we can place controls that limit the amount of carbon released to the atmosphere. We can plant more trees and increase the forest cover and so on.
  14. We could attribute this to the greenhouse effect, a process by which radiation from a planet's atmosphere warms the planet's surface to a temperature above what it would be without this atmosphere. We could attribute this to human activities - like clearing of forests and burning of fossil fuels - that have accelerated this effect hence causing global warming.
  15. I cannot imagine Wrestlemania 36 proceeding without a live audience; Vince should have paid attention to the mood and postponed this event altogether. On the other hand, I doubt if RR will be on the receiving end of anything since his decision to sit out this competition is understandable!
  16. Binge-watching is and will never be a part of me; I made peace with the fact that I can never go past 10 PM irrespective of what I am watching. Speaking of which has anyone of you started watching the fourth season of Money Heist?
  17. Well, we are looking at the whole picture, what went into creating the characters, and so on. For instance, I got drawn to Rango because Johnny Depp starred in it. He was also involved in Alice in Wonderland and Sherlock Gnomes though I am yet to watch them!
  18. @Boomer, Toy Story 4 was a big hit last year. Have you watched it yet? Thank you for your recommendations, as well. @Snarky-Guru, animation movies have come a long way, yet creativity is not lost. Too bad that Star Wars: The Clone Wars is in its last season, yet I have never started watching it. Am I too far behind?
  19. I recently got an invite to a friend's birthday party, and any attempt not to attend it was discouraged. It was a small affair that rekindled old friendships. People are still celebrating birthdays but in different ways. I would also opt for a low-key affair.
  20. Do you agree that animation movies involve a lot of creativity and wit in as far as directing, producing, and acting is concerned? That is what makes it my favorite genre. My best picks would be Rango and Zootopia.

    1917

I like this approach because it gets rid of biases and skewed opinions. Sometime back, I watched a movie that the majority of viewers had given a bad rating, but that appealed to me. It is in the same way that trailers can be misleading.

    1917

I tend to rely a lot on IMDb ratings and also make the decision based on the producer in question. To date, I still watch any movie or series produced by JJ Abrams. 1917 is a definite must-watch!
  23. All along, I knew that SSDs were superior, but I didn't have the specifics. Are you a computer scientist or engineer by any chance? There is the satisfaction that comes with building a PC from scratch. You also get it to work according to your specifications!
  24. Yes, there is also the social aspect to it, but I wouldn't opt for the discussions where you have to be physically present. I think that interacting with fellow readers broadens the scope and instils discipline.
  25. Ooh yes, there is a lot of uncertainty now because we all thought that Brexit was going to be a straight-forward process. Try to imagine what else could happen in the next decade and your head will start spinning!
