  1. To be honest, and this is my really humble opinion, Brexit wasn't a well thought-out idea and it could well go down as the biggest mistake of British history. Even if the main idea was to leave, this was not well executed. Considering how far this issue has loomed, I think it is safer to leave the EU, but with a good deal!
  2. Theresa May has clearly opposed calls for a second referendum after securing a deal and getting a backing of the 27 EU states. Generally, there is a feeling that Brexit negotiations have failed to achieve what had been promised. There have been suggestions that the Labour Party could easily back the second referendum.
  3. I used to find it so hard and awkward to go to the cinema on my own until I appreciated the simple fact that different people love to watch different genres. It is one thing to settle on a movie and it is quite another to find a companion to watch it with.
  4. That must have freaked you out. I realized age was now catching up when I would completely avoid using the escalators while shopping. I would rather use the stairs. I had never noticed that I had escalators phobia.
  5. Film reviews are a good way to determine which movies to watch. Getting a snippet of the plot can help you make a judgement about the overall quality. Review aggregators (like rotten tomatoes and so on) collect reviews from different sources too. Which other methods can be of help?
  6. I love playing chess, table tennis and basketball. I am trying to familiarize myself with monopoly as well as scrabble. A lot of people probably hardly play these games anymore because of the rise in popularity of video games.

    Paralympics

I often refer to them as 'abled differently' because they clearly demonstrate that anyone can rise above their limitations and succeed in whatever path they chose to follow. The Paralympics are a joy to watch, mostly because of the determination and strong will that these athletes display.
  8. To some extent, I agree with you @Meerkat. There is really no point in having a show that introduces nothing new, other than going around the same characters over and over. On the other hand, perhaps it gets to a point where the producers of a show run out of ideas and then opt to bring it to an abrupt end.
  9. So far, so good, though my main problem has been with its battery life though I think that's the main undoing of most smartphones. How user-friendly is iOS? You can't run into all those apps you find on Android, right?
  10. My worry with iPhones has always been the low RAM size but now that you say multitasking isn't a problem, I may as well consider the switch. I have owned a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 before.
  11. I have never owned an iPhone before but my friends keep telling me that once I get it, I will never want any other phone brand. Nonetheless, I came across a review that ranked the Samsung 8 as being more superior than iPhone 10. What are your thoughts; iOs or Android?
  12. All I know about yoga (and I could be wrong) is that it's all about meditation and concentration. Besides, I could never cross my legs like that. As for whether or not it works, would depend on why anyone is doing yoga, in the first place.
