  1. Promoters for both fighters have confirmed that the much-anticipated rematch will take place on February 22. The draw in the first encounter remains highly disputed, but hopefully, this will be a thrilling fight with a clear winner. Anthony Joshua has even offered to be a sparring partner to his fellow Brit, Tyson Fury. Is it too early to make predictions?
  2. All this sounds like greek to me because my last attempt at gaming was on a PC. Like you say, it has all to do with preference and choice. From what I have heard, there is a lot to look forward in the soon-to-be-launched PS5.
  3. Heck, this is so true. In our heads, Bieber will always be that young boy. Last I heard, he was trying to woo Selena Gomez back; at some point, I thought they were going to get married. Good for them, even though the bloke seems to have broken the hearts of a lot of young girls.
  4. It now appears that this isn't a phenomenon that started recently. Who would have thought that Mick once fared terribly in the movie scene? Interestingly enough, he is now well-known, not only as a singer but also as a songwriter, actor and film producer.
  5. I could be a teacher that @ShadowEdge can never be because I have the patience to explain things to different people. I could never be a bartender as well because that job can be tiring, plus dealing with people when they are drunk already can be a nightmare.
  6. At 24, Randy Orton aka "The Legend Killer" became the youngest world champion in WWE after winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Chris Benoit. He made his debut in 2002 and continues to impress viewers, even in the matches he loses. "The Viper's" signature move is so thrilling as well.
  7. Mickey Gall vs CM Punk occurred on the PPV portion of the UFC 203 fight card, and most fans expected the former WWE champion to put up a good show. Instead, CM suffered a terrifying beat-down from the very first minute. Gall soon advanced position and lured him into submission via a Rear-Naked Choke, in the first round. Most fans were in utter disbelief!
  8. Sports, as a whole, has changed tremendously. The element of money is a big issue, and we have instances where a fight only happens based on how much is on offer. We keep hearing people calling themselves out of retirement when it suits them.
  9. It has been a while since I watched any reality TV show, and should I ever want to start, I will have great suggestions from this thread. I loved The Amazing Race.
  10. Every athlete desires to retire at the peak of their career. Have you seen instances in which they call themselves out of retirement? It is often a calculated move, in my opinion.
  11. There is a lot of scepticism about global warming and climate change. It gets confusing when scientists don't seem to agree. To what extent have humans contributed to global warming? Is reducing the gas emissions the only way out?
  12. Lol, pun intended indeed! One thing that is pretty is that photography isn't what it used to be back in the day. We have a lot more professionals now, and the field has somewhat become crowded. All the same, there are few people whose work still stands out.
  13. The Dukes of Hazzard faced a lot of criticism. For me, it was just a lame series that didn't have a sustained storyline. I was going through the link below and realized that there are a lot more musicians who walked this path. https://www.joe.ie/movies-tv/10-worst-acting-performances-musicians-ever-hit-screen-616055
  14. Beyonce has starred in more movies than you can imagine, but in my opinion, she misses the opportunity to bring out her actual personality when acting. I loved her role in The Fighting Temptations.
  15. Who even pays attention to those music TV shows anymore? We are always bumping into new music every day on YouTube. With all the ads therein, we are getting to hear of a different song altogether, within a playlist. As much as a lot a changed, a lot has remained the same.
  16. I love basketball with the Toronto Raptors being my team of choice. This sport has come of age, and there is more competition now than a while back. I am also a soccer fan who supports Chelsea.
  17. Does anyone of you follow sequels? I hardly watch them because they rarely intrigue me. I just watched Joker's trailer, and with such a good rating, I am eager to watch it over the weekend.

  19. I also use the same approach @Pluto. Any artist who doesn't produce a catchy and insightful video risks falling behind in terms of revenue. Don't we easily rate a song based on the number of views on say, YouTube?
  20. Would you say there has been a paradigm shift in as far as music production is concerned? A majority of the hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s almost followed a similar pattern; telling a story that resonated with the audience. A musician was either talking about love, his journey of love, and so on. We seem to be having shorter music videos now, and it is probably more about getting you thrilled by the quality of the video and not so much about the content of a song. Do you share my thoughts?
  21. It is either I am too particular about movies or those that come out nowadays have a similar and familiar plot. Back then, there was a certain sophistication around movies like Phonebooth and Transit. Which movies have intrigued you lately?
  22. Breaking Bad got a lot of good reviews, but I couldn't watch it past the second season. I know I will one day push myself to watch it to the end. Did any of you enjoy Bosch or Vampire Diaries?
  23. Just trying to figure out how a slapping competition is structured and I can't help but cringe at the thought of being slapped. I think this one falls the 'weird but dangerous games'!
  24. When Andy Ruiz Jr. defeated Antony Joshua, many were shocked and looked at it a major upset. Considering that he was little known then, I concluded that there is a lot of young talent and stiff competition. Hard work and resilience are what determine how far anyone can go.
  25. Well, all I know is that Neil Rutter set a world record a year ago, on the same date today. The 2016 edition was an interesting one because it was the first time a brother and sister simultaneously won the national championship.
