  1. Interestingly, I haven't watched the documentary that you just mentioned even though I love true crime and conspiracy theory documentaries. Lately, I have started loving the NatGeo documentaries that mainly focus on the beauty of nature and the greater animal kingdom.
  2. A lot of them come to mind but Ben Affleck, Tom Cruise, Taye Diggs, Idris Elba and Titus Welliver (who's probably little known) simply stand out for me. If there is one series that I could watch over and over again, it would have to be Luther.
  3. Come to think of it, discussing politics doesn't seem to ever add any value because politicians don't easily change their stand. We stopped discussing this topic when it became apparent that the divergent views were causing a lot of divisions.
  4. I normally don't take it seriously when a boxer claims to have retired because they seem to come out of retirement, when the need arises. I think that each of this fighters have earned their place in history and it is just a matter of time before Anthony Joshua surpasses all there records.
  5. Family gatherings can be quite a nightmare because people from all walks of life and with different ideologies will definitely clash at some point. It is always best to set rules from the beginning so that everyone understands what is expected of them.
  6. I would rank them as follows; Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder and Joseph Parker. If we to factor in the number of fights, it would be Wladimir Klitschko - 64-5 (53 KO'S), Deontay Wilder - 38-0 (37 KO'S) and Alexander Povetkin - 32-1 (23 KO'S). Anthony Joshua is till young and he may become the G.O.A.T in a few years.
  7. We probably know that most people are seriously anticipating the eight season of Game of Thrones. What else are you excited about? I will be looking forward to Season 2 of Mindhunter as well as Homeland Season 8 (which happens to be the last one).
  8. Very true @Incredible Iron. For instance, have you ever selected a movie to watch based on these ratings then ended up not liking it and vice versa? At times, it helps to have a glance at the plot summary and cast plus we all have a bias for different genres, right?
  9. Due to the different body structures (body proportions and muscle to body-weight ratios) the average man is stronger than the average woman of the same weight. Competitively speaking, I don't see this ever happening.
  10. There is some rich history about the Malham Cove with its formation dating back to about 12,000 years ago. The beauty about going for a climbing expedition with a group is the fun that comes with trying to compete. However, free climbing is the most challenging and I wonder if anyone has tried this before?
  11. It has been a while since I went mountain climbing but I frequently go for the indoor track challenges. Both activities require good fitness levels and I haven't been at my best in terms of exercising. @AmyRichmond have you ever thought of climbing Mount Everest?
  12. Fitness experts will tell you that morning workouts are the best but with each of us having a different routine, it is advisable to exercise whenever your schedule permits it. I exercise in the evenings during the weekdays and early morning during the weekends.
  13. Critics will always have something to say about a movie or film but that has never discouraged me from watching what I need to watch. I always prefer to rely on ratings rather than the actual reviews.
  14. I prefer to watch a movie at the cinema and it has been a while since I grabbed a bag of popcorn at IMAX. Just like @Evelyn, the likes of Netflix and Showmax have made it possible to spend the whole weekend watching a series. I usually prefer a story that goes on and on for a while.
  15. Racquetball has some similarities to squash and I played the latter quite a few times as a teenager. Chess, scrabble and basketball are my newly-found hobbies.
  16. Same here but I don't rely on just one method all the time. Overall, ratings play a huge part in helping us making that decision but overall, we have that one producer, actor or actress that we fancy. I used to love movies directed by JJ Abrams.
  17. Many people consider milk with tea to be tastier, but then I prefer coffee with milk because of its unique taste. Would you go fir black tea of coffee? Interestingly, I normally prefer the former.
  18. Even if I played any video game in my dreams, I doubt if I would be able to remember because I am such a heavy sleeper. On the flip side, research has found out that there are higher chances of 'lucid dreaming' when video games are played just before bedtime.
  19. Roman Reigns fitted the bill and just like many of his fans, my greatest wish is that he gets to fully recover. Vince once referred to McIntyre as "The Chosen One" and I think his WWE career is just about to soar higher.
  20. @Laffy it is very true that it depends on the era we grew up in. All those names you just mentioned actually ring a bell and one fight that is very clear in my mind is that of Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield. Boxing has really evolved over the years.

    Show Revivals

I love comebacks but in one way or the other, this always signifies that a particular series will be on the verge of ending after taking a break. I woulnd't mind a comeback of Keifer Sutherland on '24.'
  22. I did not watch this match but like most people, I feel that it did not live up to its billing. I am not really sure if a guaranteed purse would ruin a match but there's some truth in saying that back then, there was more desire to win, owing to the fact that it was all about the winner taking it all!
