  1. Sad, isn't it? I've noticed the same over the years. We can't can't be challenged anymore, only placated to. The older games, at least in board form, can still be bought though.
  2. That's a great question. I always thought it was a great marketing move by The Rolling Stones to put Gimme Shelter on C.O.D. to get to a new generation of fans.
  3. Sarah Scissorhands..........I think I knew her once. LOL Went from purring to clawing in no time flat. So the high-end food and carpeted cat house it is. I do plan on spoiling her.
  4. When I move into my own place in a few months, I want to get a house cat. White black or gray. All solid color, so how does the name Sarah sound? I'll take suggestions.
  5. I've got a thing about ants. I hate them with a passion. I spray around the house a few times a year and am careful with what I do with my food.
  6. 1. Social Gatherings. I have social anxiety. 2. Elton John. Wore out his welcome. 3. Main stream news. Judging from the fact that everyone talks about it. 4. Politics. See 3. 5. Green Beans. Sauteed with butter and garlic, I could eat them all day long.
  7. And when pitching in American Baseball, a monitor of some such could be placed on the edge of those seats right behind the mound and fix "sights" on the strike zone. American Football may be out of luck until a vaccine arrives. With all the different pharmaceuticals working on one, I could see the NFL with its deep pockets paying premium prices for one after its approved, for their own use.
  8. Revenge is a strong motivator and keeps the story line active and alive. Consider the source of the rumor as well. I had a female friend who was big into soap operas and most of the "rumors" involving shows came to be true.
  9. Skywalker was as good as it was meant to be I think. It was comfort food to me. All the usual suspects were there and nothing radical happened or was implied. It ran steady and I was entertained. I liked it.
  10. When the curtains are closed, you control your own environment. From warm candlelight to the steady functionality of flourescent lighting. I can see that being very beneficial in cities like London and Seattle.
  11. He was always my kind of comedian. My kind of comedy. Very funny man. Him and Chevy Chase were the best parts of the early SNL lineups in my opinion.
  12. No, you're not being unreasonable. He lied about why he wanted to use it which means he knew it was wrong. If he knew it was wrong, so should you.
  13. A mother and father are born in town X with a major league team. When they get older, they move to town Y 2,000 miles away that has their own major league team. Because town X is still their hometown, they still root for that team. Years go by and they have a child in town Y. This town is now the home team of the child. Who should the child root for when they get old enough to know what's going on?
  14. Getting a haircut. With so many other things taking precedence, getting a haircut seems rather trivial. It's not that bad right now but if I wait another 2 weeks, it will be.
  15. I think Justin Beiber just has that look, that baby face, where he will always look too young for whatever he does. Too young to get married, divorced, retire...……..heck, Justin Beiber will be too young to die when he's 105.
  16. If we're talking only G and R, I cast my vote for Izzy Stradlin. The OTHER G and R guitarist. But of all time? You have guys like Ronnie Wood of The Stones ( he's more versatile than people may realize), Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton that top my list. Eddie Van Halen is probably the most technical guitar player of all time, no doubt about that. But I like guitars that have soul.
  17. I recall thinking he's getting a bit too old for this. Sure, he doesn't look his age......44 is it? But I always looked at this as being a young mans sport.
  18. Pay down my car loan with a principle only/curtailment payment. My 2 car loans put such a huge debt in my finances I want to punch them in the face, pay heavy, as much as I can.
  19. Relationships require communication, maturity and a WANT for it to work above all else. Above work, friends, everything. It's hard, there's no doubt about it, but it's not impossible.
  20. Congratulations! I believe that goal setting is very important. Among other things, it is very good for your self-esteem when you set a goal and meet it.
  21. When it comes to staying hydrated, which do you think is more effective? Water, or drinks with electrolyes? Persoanlly, I like the flavored water better.
  22. What kind of person names their cat orgasm? A golden retriever needs a name that implies action. Retrieving is a verb, after all. I would go with Fletcher. Fetcher with and L. Go fecth Flecther..............Good boy.
  23. I almost have to believe that Graylien. I think it's your avatar. It makes you look like you're "out there". What you described is like a prediction on crack. :omg:

    Darts anyone?

We have a board at the house and whenever I walk past it I throw the set. My aim is pretty good and I'll cluster the darts around the middle holes. I typically don't get one in, but I'm consistantly close.
  25. Money talks. For 30+million a year, I'd play for Bora Bora. What exactly is it that stuns you about this? Did he used to trash talk L.A. all the time?
