    Board Games

In this highly electronic day and age, who plays good, old-fashioned board games? Monopoly, Risk, Twixt........these were some of the ones I grew up playing. Do you play?
  2. Never say never. Maybe put your IP address on a "No Call List" the way we do with our phone numbers. Bring the old solutions like that into modern technology?
  3. Brutal. Just.........Brutal. I actually have never owned an I-phone, so I can't comment on the comparisons because I don't know what they are. I'm just used to Androids.
  4. That's not a bad idea at all. Apply that to anything else that hurts the environment and the market will eventually decide the fate of those materials.
  5. Which begs the question......what is the upgrade aside from a higher number? I personally don't trust the facial recognition tech. yet because it's still so new so that upgrade isn't appealing to me. Good thing I'm an Android kind of guy.
  6. I'm allergic to vain people who have no personal attributes to back up that vanity. Whenever I'm around one, my left eye twitches. LOL Other than that, I can't think of anything I'm allergic to.
  7. It is about half and half for me. I do talk radio a lot, so I alternate between the big city station and pod-casts. Saved channels on Podbeam to be specific.
  8. The blue light filter comes in handy if your surroundings are dark if not pitch black. It is designed to be easier on the eyes. If you get blurry vision though, which is not normal for anyone, go get your eyes checked.
  9. Picture the character that would be the least likely to die because it would have to take the script into uncharted territory. That's the one I would like to see meet a timely demise.

    The End Of Rights

Violence is and always will be defined as something that is physical. Verbal abuse does not fit that definition and the people who are trying to make it so have to have an agenda of some sort they are pushing. In my opinion.
  11. After all these years, we are still at the mercy of advertisers who can get into our personal computers and do what they want. There has be a remedy for this that goes way beyond ad blockers.
  12. Texas Chainsaw Massacre anyone? I was watching a movie a few weeks ago that was set in England (I think). It was about a guy who lived an hour away from the nearest town and he kept women as his wife/sex slave/farm worker. Different women at different times I believe. All this happened back in th '80's I believe. He used a lot of phsycological "warfare" on them as well as physical violence. This is the type of "horror" that is the scariest for me to watch.
  13. They say that if you have an expert marketer, you can make tons of money even if you have a mediocre band. The same could be said for most forms of entertainment.
  14. Count me in. A simulated driving program is something I would pay good money for. Actually Zack, do you think programmers and makers can hook up with the motor vehicle departments in each state and re-vamp their driving tests?
  15. If this is wrong then you're going to have to convince the mob-rule of that, and...........good luck with that. I don't think it's right but if you are a major player in whatever field and you don't know the power of social media, then I suppose you get what you deserve.
  16. That is true. I always looked at it as it was their only choice left. B list actors, basically, that can't find work any higher up.
  17. Her parents.........I forgot all about that. When I first heard about that, I thought "That poor girl doesn't stand a chance." Glad that she beat the odds though.
  18. We're going to have to agree to disagree on Tom. He is THE most annoying person to watch. Whether it's a sit-down interview, a talk show or a movie, he just rubs me the wrong way. I agree with you on the action and stunts though. I live for that stuff.
  19. She seems to have grown up her life in the fast lane. Still likes the nightlife, but is more mature and less self-destructive about it. As if she was "groomed" by Madonna herself.
  20. Well, I don't like Tom Cruise yet I have always been a fan of Mission Impossible. Looks like a coin toss waiting to happen. I'll pay attention to the characters Tom, as long as I don't have to pay attention to yours. Do we have a deal?
  21. She seems to have matured into an intersting woman. I would watch it for that reason alone. A Greek themed nightclub with an interest in refugee children. That's quite a mix.
  22. Reality T.V. shows are typically set in the homes of the "stars" in question. What if those stars were professional wrestlers? Or has this been done before? I can't remember ever hearing that wrestlers were stars of Reality T.V. shows before. I think it would go off well......what do you think?
  23. At the very least, make the animation more representative of the subject matter. If the story is in the horror genre with most scenes at night in rural settings, brightly colored Japanese anime girls with big eyes and short skirts is a juxtaposition that's just plain weird. I think it's a pretty cool idea, but can we grow it up a little?
  24. That's true, but you and I both know that viewers want quick results over realistic portrayals. That said, some topics are best left for documentaries.

    The Story Lines

Garganno / Ciampa has to end the story at some point, wouldn't you think? Fans move on after awhile if the story remains the same for too long.
