  1. Mick Foley was a good wrestler, plus The Mandible Claw signature move stuck with a lot of people. As much as this sport has made great strides, we can still relieve scenes from past matches.
  2. Hey @Zack T, you did a terrific job with the build, and it's now apparent that building your PC is not cheap, but worth the effort. Are you so much into gaming?
  3. I have been a homebody for the longest time, and I agree that some people grow into this. Every time I get out of this comfort zone, I have to find time to stay indoors, and recharge!
  4. You could call it a matter of preference, but then these two consoles are both worth buying, considering that they both contain great exclusives apart from the ability to game in VR. If you had to make a choice, which one would you opt for, irrespective of the difference in prices?
  5. I never watched Eddie on SNL, but I mostly remember watching movies like Shrek, Nutty Professor, Bowfinger, Doctor Dolittle and Imagine That, among others. I doubt if I have seen anyone as hilarious in my lifetime!
  6. Have you (in the past) thought about quitting employment? It has crossed my mind severally, but then it doesn't make sense to leave your job without a plan. What motivates you to stay employed?
  7. Did you know that less than 25% of people stay committed to their resolutions after just a month? In my opinion, it is better to set goals rather than the former that tend to be broad and vague. On the other hand, goals are more actionable hence more effective most of the time.
  8. There is the usual hype that comes with the festive season, and it is easy to get carried away and end up overspending. The point is not to overdo it but have something low-key but exciting at the same time.
  9. I have never given this some serious thought before, but Game of Thrones, Vikings and The Fringe now come to mind. There are countless movies that I have enjoyed before as well; that got me glued to my seat!
  10. If you have many people that you need to gift, then cards are the easy way out. It is less costly, and there is less hassle as compared to getting actual gifts. Most people like the convenience that comes with this.
  11. Yes, it is quite a phenomenon in the UK, and with a bit of luck, anyone can win money. Either way, I don't think there I am cut out for gambling plus there are many stories of people who lost their fortune. Why would I want to risk? 0_O O_0
  12. Bosch is a TV series I could watch countless times, even though I am yet to watch the fifth season. I found the plot to be unique and intriguing, unlike most investigative series nowadays. Zootopia too advanced a good lesson and had me laughing the whole time.
  13. I have never paid much attention to the overused phrases, and I think from now on, they are going to get to me. "Literally"' and "Be that as it may" are the ones that come to mind now.
  14. I may not be the best dancer out there, but I try. I have never been to a dance class before. Every time I see those awesome dance movies online, I appreciate the effect of continuous practice apart from innate skill.
  15. There are a lot of people (celebrities included) who get married at a young age, but it seems everyone believes that he is too young for this. Who knows, he could prove us wrong over time.
  16. When he burst to the scene, most people wondered whether he was too young for the big stage. Within no time, everyone knew about him and what a massive following he has managed to accumulate over time! Do you agree with people that say he is still too young for marriage?
  17. Hey @Snarky-Guru, nothing comes close to a match that doesn't live to its billing. Who were you predicting to win in the Francis N'Gannou vs Derrick Lewis bout?
  18. Isn't it interesting that everybody always seems to have an opinion about climate change, yet very few people act? Many individuals are playing their part in conserving the environment, yet they don't shout about it.
  19. I agree with you @scatman that goal-setting is important. I used to be an ardent reader, but along the way, became a victim of reader's block. That makes the two of us @Boomer, but I'm sure we'll get our grooves back soon.
  20. Well, Bobby Lashley looks like nothing close to his age. He had a 15-2-0 MMA record which is fair enough. What is a bad fight in your opinion; one that didn't last for long or that was bloody? I would say both.
  21. Most of them do, with a few exceptions like Brock Lesnar, Alberto Del Rio and Bautista. Others like Nathan Jones were neither accomplished wrestlers nor successful mixed martial artists. Do you also recall Bobby Lashley?
  22. Wow, that's great because I had no idea that some libraries have online resources. I'd love a chance to volunteer as well. Nowadays, I prefer books to movies.
  23. Ooh yes, some of my favourite old school wrestlers are Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair. Wrestling has come a long way. How about Stone Cold Steve Austin?
  24. Yes, Kindle changed everything because now you can get a book and read it at the comfort of your space. I visit the local library when I get the chance, but it doesn't always stock the books on my reading list!
  25. I am usually very productive at work, probably because the brain knows how to adjust to situations. You will not want to be sluggish at work since your immediate boss could reprimand you. On a personal level, you have to push yourself at times, to do some things.
