  1. IF the PlayStation 5 is actually coming soon, I'll probably not bother with it, for various reasons I can't be bothered to go into.
  2. Brody Dalle - Underworld - "This video is not available in your country". I might have to find an alternate link and review it then. The Afghan Whigs - Algiers - Like a lot of stuff posted in the music club, I think I'd like this more as an instrumental. The music is fine, but the vocals do nothing for me whatsoever. It felt like it dragged on a bit too, and for a four minute song, that isn't good. I'll be generous and give this one a 3/10. Sia - Elastic Heart - Nope. I'm not a fan of these type of singy pop songs with quasi-hip hop beats, and this is no exception. Again, it would be fine as an instrumental, but the vocals do nothing for me, with the exception of the chorus. Also the video was really weird. Gains points for the music and the chorus, as I thought the chorus was actually pretty good, but the rest of the vocals did nothing for me, so it loses points there. A generous 4/10. Andy C & Fiora - Heartbeat Loud - Argh, my biggest nemesis of the music club strikes again, that being vocals. I like the music in this, I don't like the vocals, and if this was an instrumental, I'd rate it pretty highly. But as it is with the vocals, it loses points. If this were instrumental I'd give it a 9, but as is, I'm giving it a 5.5/10.
  3. I've been having a really hard time thinking of something to pick... That being said, I'll make sure to get my reviews done either later tonight or sometime tomorrow. :)
  4. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - In the Heat of the Moment - And right away, a somewhat annoying 'na na na na na'. This didn't really do anything for me at all either way, apart from the 'na na na-ing' which irritated me slightly. Hard to rate...3/10, I guess. Eminem ft Sia - Guts Over Fear - This is the type of Eminem song I'm not a big fan of...it's not that it's bad, because it's not, but I prefer his other earlier stuff to this type of song. The subject matter and lyrics were fine, but his delivery just didn't grab me. Sia did nothing for me whatsoever. Hard to rate, I'd like to rate it higher, but I don't think I could give it anything other than a 5/10. As I said, the lyrics were good, but the delivery could've used a bit more force. Also I wasn't a big fan of the beat either.
  5. I'm first? I'm not exactly ready yet...usually I have my picks sorted out in advance, but I completely forgot this time. Sorry. I could probably find something sometime tomorrow, or maybe someone else can go first, I don't know. Again, sorry.
  6. Played more of this earlier, and I ran into a few glitches. In one match I was put into a submission hold, but the submission meter didn't show up, and I had to quit the match because I was stuck in a submission hold that I couldn't get out of. None of the controls were responsive, and the referee was frozen as well. Second glitch happened when I unlocked a trophy, and for some reason the entire game crashed and sent me back to the PS4 home menu. Anyway, the career mode is sort-of annoying since I seem to lose the majority of my matches. It wasn't until I upgraded my CAW that I actually started winning more. And yes, that means that for some reason the career mode pushes you along even though I was losing horribly. I'm still enjoying playing it though, just a bit annoyed that I lose so much...in previous WWE games I rarely lost at all in the career/story modes.
  7. Well I bought this yesterday, and from what I've played so far, I'm really enjoying it. As I said before, the last main-series WWE game I played was WWE 12, and this feels so much better than that one. The only thing that bothered me about the "stripping down" of the features was the lack of CAW parts, apart from that, I'm really enjoying it. As I didn't play the last couple of games, I don't know if the chain wrestling mechanics were there previously, but I really like them. I had a match which went from reversal to reversal that felt like an actual wrestling match, rather than a series of moves. I noticed when I was making my CAW that the movelist has a lot more in it than I remember as well. So, in my opinion, I really like it. I can live with the lack of CAW features, (as all my best CAW's were created on SVR 2010 and I can't be bothered remaking them), and I like the new gameplay mechanics. But whatever, my opinion doesn't count. Whenever everybody else shits on something, I usually end up liking it. :doh32:
  8. I'll be getting this on the PS4. I haven't bought a main series WWE game since WWE 12, plus it's the first on the PS4, so I decided why not.
  9. Thank you Maxx! Accordion was the word I was looking for when I said mouth organ. :doh32: :lol
  10. Well it seems I won that argument. :P Faith No More - Evidence (Spanish Version) - Not sure what to say about this. Not my thing, not annoying, not what I'd call bad, but it didn't do anything for me either. I have no idea what to say, and rating this is hard. I'll give it a 3/10, as I said, it did nothing for me, but I wouldn't say it was bad either, so I don't really know what to rate it. Hexadar - Wenn es am Morgen windet - This is the type of stuff I've grown to really enjoy this year. And this particular song was freaking awesome. I really like the wind in the opening, the use of what I assume is a mouth organ or something like it blends in really well, the vocals are the type of growly vocals that I really like, and the blend of growly and singy vocals at around the 3:05 mark works really well. I've said 'really' far too many times...anyway, you said that this was 'basic', well I like basic, and this has to be the most I've enjoyed a song in the music club so far. 9.5/10.
  11. You can laugh, but it's easily the most extreme music ever made.
  12. I find that a bit weird, the only rap that makes me uncomfortable is snuff rap, especially Australian snuff rap. And I suppose Neo-Nazi Horrorcore too, since I find the idea so uncomfortable that I refuse to ever listen to it. Besides that, having seen the translated lyric's of a lot of them, they aren't saying anything really different to their English speaking equivalents.
  13. Last time I attempted to explain the different types of horrorcore, it didn't go so well...
  14. Okay then, my picks. First is a Japanese horrorcore rap song, complete with weird music video. :P asa ft Mizarry Psycho Freaxxx - 狂人日記 [video=youtube;zTKu3ObJrB0] And second is another horrorcore rap song, this time by the Czech horrorcore group Sodoma Gomora. This isn't my favourite song of theirs, but I chose it because of the samples used in the beat. Sodoma Gomora (featuring Masový Wrazi) - Antibible [video=youtube;1xgE65CrGjM] On a sidenote, I wasn't actually going to post horrorcore rap, but every other choice I had in mind had too much English in it. :doh32:
  15. FINNTROLL - Häxbrygd - Well the music video is weird. :lol As for the song itself, I actually quite liked this. Can't think of anything else to say really. 8/10. Runrig - Alba - I liked the music in this, but I'm not really a fan of the vocals. If this was an instrumental, I'd rate it much higher, as is, the vocals don't annoy me too much. 6.5/10.
  16. Sorry, I seem to have missed when I was supposed to post my picks. I'll review Inno's picks and post mine either later tonight or sometime tomorrow. :)
  17. Sólstafir - Fjara - This felt overlong to me. The music didn't feel like it really kicked in until around 3 minutes in. I'm not really a fan of the vocals either. So I didn't like it. The music video was cool though, so it gets extra points for that. 3/10. Einstürzende Neubauten - Stella Maris - I didn't like this at all. I can't really describe why, I just found this borderline annoying. Sorry. 0/10.
  18. Dschinghis Khan - "Dschinghis Khan" - I have no idea what to say to that. It didn't do anything for me. This left me feeling nothing either way, sorry. 2/10. Donatan & Cleo - My Slowianie (We Are Slavic Girls) - This just annoyed me. Her voice annoyed me, especially during the chorus, and the constant clapping distracted me, rather than blending into the song. I found nothing to like here. 0/10.
  19. Carmina Burana ~ O Fortuna | Carl Orff ~ André Rieu - I've heard this music before, not in it's entirety or this particular version though. The beginning, as well as the dramatic part leading to the end were fine, but the singing in between dragged on a bit for me. I didn't hate it, but not something I'd listen to. 3/10. The 3 Tenors O Sole Mio 1994 - Don't really know what to say about this. 2/10.
  20. Rammstein - Moskau - This wasn't bad. I really don't know what to say about it though. 5.5/10. Asian Kung-Fu Generation - Flashback - Again, I don't know what to say about this. It wasn't really bad, but it didn't do much for me at all. 4/10.
  21. BABYMETAL - ギミチョコ!!- Gimme chocolate!! - I went into this fully expecting to hate it. I actually liked it. I hate my life. 8/10. Dir En Grey - Hageshisa to kono mune no naka de karamitsuita shakunetsu no yami - Well this is possibly a first for me in the music club: two positive reviews in a row. I enjoyed this one too. 8/10.
  22. Neil Young- The Needle and The Damage Done - Not a fan of this at all, sorry. 1/10. The Doors- The End - This didn't do much for me at all, it feels too slow paced and the music doesn't do anything for me. The vocals feel too spread apart from each other, and they don't do anything for me anyway. This dragged on too long, I have nothing against long songs and there are even long songs that are very repetitive that I like, but this just feels like it drags on to me. If it was shorter I would probably still not like it, but it wouldn't bug me as much. Sorry. 1/10. HBS - Koda - This sounds like it was recorded by someone riding a lillypad in the middle of a frog infested swamp. :lol The music is fine, the frog noises and whatever the hell else in the background added to it. Not really a fan of the vocals though. This is another one of those things that I think I'd like a lot more as an instrumental. 4/10. Jane's Addiction - Three Days - I actually quite liked the first few minutes of this, but then it morphed into a different song which I didn't like as much. And after a few minutes it morphs yet again into a different song. This sounds like 3 songs squished together, which I guess could make sense since it's called 'Three Days', but I still feel that this would be better as 3 separate songs, I wasn't really a fan of the middle part, but the rest is okay I guess. It just sounds too all over the place, so it loses points for that. 3.5/10.
  23. Did you just call Maria dumb? Because after watching her YouShoot (when it was briefly available on YouTube) she didn't seem dumb to me.
