  1. Over The Wall - Radiator - The music does nothing for me in particular, it doesn't annoy me, but still. Not a fan of the voice at all, I can tolerate the music in this, but the singing I find quite annoying, sorry. Gets an extra point for the music not annoying me, but loses every other point for the singing. Again, sorry, didn't like it. 3/10. The Birthday Suit ft Scott Hutchinson - A Bigger World - Not my thing at all, but it didn't annoy me at all, and the vocals were far far better than the vocals in the previous song. Doesn't do much for me at all, but it's okay I guess. A generous 5/10. Pearl Jam - Pendulum - Music is okay, not a big fan of the voice. Didn't really like this one at all, sorry. 2.5/10. Queens of the Stone Age - I Appear Missing - Music is fine for what it is, I guess. Vocals do nothing for me though. I was already sick of listening to this at the 3 and a half minute mark, it's a bit overlong. The length made it more annoying than it would have been if it were shorter. Didn't like it, really, sorry. 3/10. Wayne Shorter - Orbits - That ominous piano. I really like the dark piano at the start, it started things off promisingly. Then it all changed into a mishmash of instruments that I almost had to turn off because I don't find it at all pleasant to listen to. So while I quite liked the piano at the beginning, I hated the rest of it. 1/10. Trace Adkins - Watch The World End - At least the music in this isn't completely made up of country twangyness. Does nothing for me either way really, so it's hard to rate. A generous 3.5/10 for not annoying me as much as I thought it would.
  2. I'll review what I haven't sometime tomorrow, I'm not in the mood right now. That being said... But the 'first guy' is the late great Lord Infamous. Who also had the second-last verse on the first song I posted..... Slightly off-topic, but I've never understood why rap is always singled out for stuff like this, when death metal and country and other genres do it as well and don't seem to bother anyone. Anyway, there are a lot of reasons for it, but I can't be bothered going into it all right now.
  3. Berserk is great. And while I'm here, I'm currently watching Ranma 1/2.
  4. Okay, my choices. I was going to choose stuff from the few 2013 albums I did buy, but my favourites aren't on YouTube. So instead, I'm posting one random song and one from and album I bought in 2013. First is a song from the reformed Three 6 Mafia, now going by the name Da Mafia 6ix and missing Juicy J. I'm not a big fan of Yelawolf at all, but I still really like this song, I just think it would be better without him. They are supposed to have a new album out in 2014, I just hope that Lord Infamous finished recording his parts before he died. Anyway... Da Mafia 6ix ft Yelawolf - Go Hard [video=youtube;7uH8v8P8SMg] And my second pick is from an album I did buy in 2013, B-Tite's Satan's Soldier. B-Tite ft Lord Infamous, Dosia Demon, Phrozt, Nightmare & Seer The Reaper - Demonic Possession [video=youtube;ZRA2aUPdRTA]
  5. Ghost B.C. - Secular Haze - Doesn't do much for me really. It didn't annoy me, but it didn't do much for me either, sorry. 4.5/10 Macklemore, Ray Dalton & Ryan Lewis - Can't Hold Us - Not really a fan of the beat. Flow is really good, but I'm not a big fan of his voice much, nothing wrong with it though. 5/10
  6. But X-Pac still wrestles, and he was diagnosed with Hepatitis C a few years ago. I read in an interview that he's open with it, and nobody he wrestles against seems to have a problem with it.
  7. Was the rumour that Human Tornado allegedly has HIV ever posted here?
  8. Manic Street Preachers - Mausoleum - Not a fan of the vocals. The music doesn't annoy me, but it doesn't do much for me either. Sorry. 3.5/10 Judy Garland - Somewhere Over The Rainbow - Far too slow-going for me. I've never been a fan of this song. 3/10. DevilDriver - These Fighting Words - Suprisingly good. I like the fast pace, and the song is loud enough without causing me ear pain, and the growling vocals are growly without being overly growly to the point of not understanding the words. 7/10. Louis Armstrong - What A Wonderful World - It's not my thing, but it doesn't annoy me. 5/10. Soundgarden - Fell on Black Days - Not my thing at all, sorry. 3/10. Deadmau5 - Moar Ghosts and Stuff - Started out okay, then got too 'happy' sounding for a zombie apocalypse thingy. 5.5/10. Fukpig - Britain's Got F*cking Aids - Vocals are literally just yelling...okay. Not sure what to say on this one. It's short. 4/10. The Carpenters - We've Only Just Begun - Not annoying, not my thing either. I can't picture this one during a zombie thing, sorry. 3.5/10. Ozzy Osbourne - Zombie Stomp - Took a bit too long to properly start. Not really a fan of the vocals, and the music doesn't do anything for me. At least it has zombie in it. 2/10. Queen - Another One Bites the Dust - It lacks something for a zombie thingy, but otherwise it's okay. 6/10.
  9. Wifebeater vs The Winger [video=youtube;b_QLS9_Evmk]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_QLS9_Evmk Jun Kasai & Jaki Numazawa vs Brahmans This one is a comedy match, and I think the only match I've ever seen in which a bag of dog food is used as a weapon. :lol [video=youtube;Q7hfc9Qi6pA]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7hfc9Qi6pA
  10. I like The Last Crusade the most, but you can't go wrong with any of the original 3.
  11. Okay then. First of all, on the zombie theme, is this: [video=youtube;5angfAAQBys] And second of all.....the two other songs I had in mind as possible choices aren't on YouTube anymore. So I'm having a very hard time choosing.....I've literally spent the last 2 and a half hours looking for something. :( So my second pick will have to wait for now.
  12. Queens of the Stone Age - A Song for the Deaf - Not bad for what it is. The music is fine, the vocals aren't annoying. Not bad at all, really. 6/10. Soundgarden - 4th of July - Like the song before it, it isn't bad for what it is. Again, suprisingly not bad. 6/10.
  13. Gregorian Monks - Introitus Dominica Prima Adventus - It's hard to rate this. Without having actual music and being vocal only, it makes it really hard for me to rate. It's not my thing at all, but it isn't annoying or anything. 5/10, I guess? I don't know. Miles Davis - Blue In Green - It's far too slow going for me. I'm not really a fan of any type of music that has trumpets as the main focus either. And while it doesn't really annoy me, it doesn't really do anything for me either. It's kind of hard to explain, but if I was to describe something as 'too laid back', this would be the type of thing I'd use, sorry. 4/10. On a sidenote, why does the picture on the YouTube video spell Davis as Davies? :?
  14. Sorry for the delay. I've thought long and hard about this, and I couldn't think of anything that fit the rules of 'calm'. So I guess it's Final Fantasy music again..... [video=youtube;UB3nB5vdmcs] [video=youtube;1eU0tRBHnE0]
  15. Baroness - Twinkler - Not sure exactly what to say about this. It wasn't bad, but it's too hard to explain any further. 6/10. The Tear Garden - Ship Named 'Despair' - Music is very good. Not a huge fan of the vocals, but they don't ruin it or annoy me. Gets extra points simply for the music. 8/10.
  16. Ben Shepherd - Collide - Sorry, not my thing at all. I've never really understood the style of 'person with guitar singing' like this. This one in particular though, I didn't like, as I didn't like his voice or delivery. Again, sorry, not my thing. It does get extra points for not annoying me though. 3/10. Nirvana - Something In The Way - The only Nirvana song I've ever heard is Smells Like Teen Spirit, which I don't mind actually. And believe it or not, but I quite liked this too. I don't know what it is about it, I'm not a fan of the genre, but I still liked it. 7/10.
  17. I completely forgot about this again. :snf28: So if someone wants to go ahead of me again, it would help. :)
  18. Mortal Kombat influenced game censorship..........
  19. Ray Lamontagne - All The Wild Horses - Too slow paced for me. Not a fan of the vocals either. Sorry, not for me. 3/10. Stone Sour - Bother - Not my thing, but it didn't annoy me or make me want to rip my ears off. So it gets extra points for that. 4/10. Peter Wolf - Sleepless - Like the previous song, it's not my thing, but it also didn't annoy me. 4/10. Fun Lovin' Criminals - Up On The Hill - Something about this sounds familiar, but I haven't heard it before, so I might have heard it sampled somewhere. This is suprisingly good. 7/10.
  20. I've been doing other stuff, so I'll do my reviews either tomorrow or the next day. With that said, someone else can go ahead of me on the schedule if they want to, because I haven't picked what I'm going to post yet.
