  1. Thus proving my point all else is opinion and hearsay, no one is saying it is wrong, it is your opinion. You buy games to experience the game thus gain a knowledge no longer is it your opinion of the game it is your knowledge of the game. To look at a game irrelevent of how it is made and decide it is rubbish without playing it, is opinion. To play it and still think it is rubbish is your knowledge of it. It is why people when asked a question in a formal setting say "to the best of my knowledge etc......" Not, "Well, in my opinion....." Generally they are not being asked for opinion they are being asked for knowledge, and in the wrestling industry, the best knowledge belongs to those who work within it. Opinions mean nought to them.
  2. Do you wish to run 26 miles? If you did would you have a pop at her then? Hearsay. You also don't "know" that you can't run 26 miles if you've never tried or practiced to do it. My father is 60 years old and has run 16 marathons up until he was 49, if he can do it someone of your youth can easily do it. Sorry, no. I've only had a bit of wrestling traing, but never actually wrestled in front of a crowd, However, it's my god given right to have an opinion on anything I wish, right or wrong, you can't stop me from having it. Read exactly what I wrote. All else is opinion and hearsay. You don't "know". I may not agree with people's opinions but would willingly fight for their right to voice them. However, if I "know" something is correct, because an expert told me, then I would be more inclined to listen to the expert. If I go to hospital and a man outside says you've broken your arm, I broke mine like that once, I still go to the doctor, not because the bloke outside is wrong, but because only the doctor knows how to change it from broken to fixed.
  3. There is a very old adage, and it is very old because it is very true. "Those who can, do, those who cannot, criticise." I am not particularly enamoured with H3 but his opinion on the way he makes a damn good living, easily outweighs the opinion of outsiders. I'm a ceramic tiler and the amount of people who when I'm tiling their houses say to me, "wow, that's simple that tiling lark innit?" is ridiculous. I say yeah it is, but try making a living doing it. I might watch snooker on TV and think wow, that snooker lark is a peice of the preverbial, but once I pick up a cue to play, it's like I'm using a brush handle to play with. You need to live and breathe a job before you KNOW what your talking about, all else is hearsay and opinion.
  4. Laydees and Genellmen, Belty has disappeared up his own ass, and in the process has caused a furore, about Carlito being the crappest wrestler ever, which I know for a fact he isn't Khali is:xyx Belty your posts used to mean something, then you said you were sick of everyone moaning and then said you were leaving, but then came back because Hogan was mentioned, then you went on about you always being right, then you made a homophobic comment, or bigoted at very least. Then your arrogance became bile and then you said you hated RAW and everything on it. Man, you must be getting old and cantankerous, because, I think the meds are wearing off. Take it easy man you are likely to blow a Hulkster.
  5. I'm not saying he is not an able wroker, what I am saying is that I can do without mental images of Shawn Waltman and Joanie Laurer, doing the do, and now no matter waht I see neither of them wrestling in the ring, just......... bleeurgh!!!!!!! See no more mention of him please. Yes, I know I shouldn't have looked, but, it's like a car crash, you can't look away.
  6. Oh man, you had to bring X Plop into this didn't you, man I've seen parts of him disappearing into parts of Chyna, not big or clever.:P Please no more, as Jerry Lawler once said, the only reason he was in nWo was because Hall and Nash thought it was funny watching him be sick on himself.:lol
  7. I think the biggest pop of the night was Hogan's Hip when he dropped the Legdrop of Doom.:lol
  8. I'll bet HHH, HBK and HHH all got together and worked this between them behind the scenes. I can picture it now-: HHH "Right during your match with Randall, you do a crotch chop, yeah?" HHH "OK Brother, and then you try and get the crowd going by cupping your ear, or another of my little tricks, that'll be hilarious." HBK "Yup, and we'll get the Internet buzzing with rumours about how we are all so petty." HHH "OK Brothers, let's do this thing, so when Kevin shows up, we can all put something together and take over this business." HHH "Yeah, and put Vince out to pasture, hahahahahaha!"
  9. For that statement you require this: :worship :worship :worship :worship :thumbsup :xyx :worship
  10. I'm not sure but 5'9" seems awful small for an average, I don't know any male around me shorter than 5'10", but who am I to argue with Wiki? Anyone know the averages for wrestlers?
  11. A "Big Man" is anyone whose height or weight is larger than the average or normal. In the UK average male height is around 6ft(5'10" - 6'1") and weight of about 14 stones.(196lbs) In the USA average male height is around 6'2"( 6' - 6'4) and weight of around 15 stones.(210lbs) Anyone over these sizes or weights are big men. So 6'4"+ and 15 stones + Taker at 305lbs(21and 3/4 stones) and 6'10" is a big man but Big Show at 7' and 507lbs(36 and 1/4 stones) is huge. I'm not sure though of average wrestlers height and weight so.......anyone?
  12. This thread has given me the best laugh I've had for days, thanks guys. Good on you Big Show. The fan covered in phlegm's face must have been a picture.:lol :sick

Ermmmmmmmm.................nope, the processor that runs both the Xbox360 and the PS3, just happens to run the Wii also, however, the Wii has 3 of the little buggers instead of the puny 1 each for Sony and Microsoft. So no I'm not laughing until I get my hands on one, oh and it's the size of a DVD case too, coolio.:P

    N64

I downloaded Project 64 and 1964 emulators and have every N64 game available, even Banjo Tooie and Conker's Bad Fur Day. It's great to be able to play all those games on my pc. Little bit of useless trivia, there was more computer hardware in an N64 than was in the Apollo 11 rocket and LMB that landed man on the moon, strange but true. My fave games for N64 though are: Diddy Kong Racing Blast Corps Jet Force Gemini Ocarina of Time Majora's Mask Mario 64 Goldeneye Turok Snowboard Kids 1&2 Perfect Dark Banjo Kazooie and Tooie Conker's Bad Fur Day Donkey Kong Country I still get a lot of fun outta those games.
