  1. Xpac always annoyed me and he is a fool, Nicole Bass also made me cringe, and right now, Eugene.
  2. Ok Darkie will do, I just don't think that Piper Orndorff or DiBiase could have drawn huge crowds in the same way that HBK or The Rock did, without the help of Austin. Piper and the rest relied on Hogan a lot more. IMO.
  3. Piper was never World Champ, nor Orndorff, and Andre only was in order to give it to Ted. The Attitude Era had more World Champs that could draw on their own, without Austin.. without Hogan maybe only Andre would have drawn on his own merit. IMO.
  4. I disagree, Austin Vs Earthquake? You are right Jake, Dibiase, Andre, Piper and the others where great but not all of the had main event singles matches against Hogan so we can't assume anything there. Austin had main event singles matches against what I beleive to be the best roster WWE ever put together, The Rock, Taker(ok he spans both eras), HBK, Bret Hart, HHH, Mick Foley, Kurt Angle each one of those men could draw on their own. The older guys could draw as well but not on the scale that say a HBK could draw at, also each of the attitude era guys were bona fide World Champions themselves, none of Hogan's opponents were, except for Andre, Warrior and Slaughter, but only Andre and Warrior were big draws, the others where mid to upper carders, all of Austin's opponents except Rikishi were upper to main eventers.
  5. I'm sure they would Darkie but my point is Austin had more talent around him than Hogan did, and people paid to see Hogan regardless of his opponent, I don't think anyone would have paid to see Austin Vs General Adnan or Austin Vs Earthquake, I just think the level of talent was greater during Austin's era.
  6. I think the main differences here are that during the 80's Hogan pretty much drew crowds because it was Hulk Hogan, irrelevent of who is oppo was, Hogan drew for matches against anyone. Austin had other great competitors around him at the time, would anyone pay to see Austin Vs Earthquake or General Adnan say? Austin had awesome drawing power partly due to the fact he was wrestling The Rock, Kurt Angle, HHH, HBK, Bret Hart, The Deadman, Mick Foley etc... I imagine the buy rates for those feuds where of the scale. Hogan though drew based on himself, ok he wrestled Andre, Taker, Warrior, Machoman etc... but I don't think people paid to see his opponents, they paid to see Hogan. As far as longevity in drawing power the I think Taker must have drawn a lot of cash over the years. Hogan / Austin I'm not sure who would have drawn the most money but I think for Austin it was a lot easier due to the calibre of his opponents and the amount of good opponents he had the choice of, Hogan had a limited amount of quality, but made the best of what he had.
  7. Personally I like Vince, I could do without Shane for a while but so what! Steph 's voice annoys the hell outta me, and Linda, well Linda just doesn't have it. I would also say that Vince hasn't been the most consistent hell over the last decade, I'd say HHH has consistently annoyed me very professionally for the last 10 years. I think that Vince should bring back Russo, because together the storylines they came up with were different and entertaining.
  8. Yeah Hawk and Animal, Von Erichs I'm cool with that, John Tenta (Earthquake) will probably be a definite, Jake Roberts, Randy Savage, Tommy Billington (Dynamite Kid) would be awesome with Davey Boy Smith, Paul Bearer, Rick Martel, plenty to think about WWE.
  9. American IV : A Man Comes Around - Johnny Cash
  10. Hep C is a big deal, Bob Holly though I'm sure I read in PowerSlam has contracted MRSA, which could be potentially fatal. If Hepatitis is going around the locker room, then gigging will be cut to a minimum from here on in, which I think is probably a good thing, as to me it just seems to be an easy shortcut.
  11. Elevated enzymes in the liver means the liver is working harder trying to clear substances from the system. If you have a particularly heavy night on the booze then you liver produces lots of enzymes to counteract the affects of the alcohol. Steroids are probably to blame, but depending on the level of test WWE use these guys might have had one shandy too many. If you had to pin me down though I'd say Human Growth Hormone or out and out Steds, which in this day and age is beyond stupid.
  12. Congrats on being an uncle Cott and Shane has a kid HoganSux. As for the LeVesque family let's hope the baby is healthy and all goes well. Major plus is no HHH or Vince though tonight on RAW.
  13. Thanks, Blast Corps was one of the most difficult games I have ever played and the stress level that went with it blew my mind, from trying to stop a nuclear bomb exploding in streets to the voice saying "Gotta Keep Moving." I got all Gold Medals on that but gave up when it asked me to get Platinum, damn it was hard.
  14. N64 for me I love that game and Diddy Kong Racing. Blast Corps made my head explode though
  15. R.I.P Eddie. Sleep Well Amigo Too shocked for comprehension.
  16. My faves almost 10 years ago now were the Crying Freeman comics. I liked Sin City though Mickey Rourke freaked me out, he is one of my favourite actors. Spiritchaser A La Manga
  17. I can't beleive the shock that is abundant in this thread, who do you sack? Matt Hardy a midcarder who is out with injury anyways or HCubed's good buddy Edge, go figure. Edge has been a good friend of HCubed for a long time and whilst I do feel for Matt, I am not in the least bit surprised that WWE has let him go, and for that matter where is Val Venis now? Rhyno again never lived up to the Man Beast moniker he "earned" in ECW. My only question is "Who's Next?" Spiritchaser One Door Opens Another Hits You On The Ass
  18. Wow, lots of performers getting fired, I'm starting up my own promotion. I'd sack creative for not being creative and I'd fire Stephanie McMahon's ass right now. Spiritchaser Right? You Damn Right!
  19. My opinion is that HHH has bored me to tears over the last two years, due to his massive ego, his face and because I do not like him, him the person not the wrestler, I do not like the look of him or what comes out of his mouth both on and off tv. He is a mediocre champion and one who shouts about how good he is in order to hide his shortcomings. The man is an a grade clown as is Randy Orton's Security Team and all their letters. Spiritchaser Damn!
  20. Boring................. HHH is............... Welcome Back E2K Spiritchaser H3 Holy Sh*t
