  1. I very rarely go back on my word, but I will make an exception in this case. Firstly there is nothing "alleged" about me, I am straight up in your face. Secondly, namecalling is big and clever is it not. My original point has been trampled on by three guys attempting to make me look stupid, unfortunately for you, this is not the first time, this has happened to me in my lifetime. You can call me all the names you like, it does not make your arguement correct. Life is Cyclical and you have not lived long enough to understand that, therefore your arguements are flawed anyway. In China the oldest civilisation on Earth this cycle has a name, and for those who are aware of it, it becomes a part of their lives, and they can predict the up and downs of share prices throughout Asia. There are also analysts in the Western Hemisphere who watch for these cycles and thus we have interest rates that go up and down, throughout the world. Ask JBL he made a career predicting these things. You may argue that just because WWE is turning out a poor product, that others are not, yes very true, but that in itself is part of the BIG CYCLE. With me...good. Wrestling as an art form has been practiced for thousands of years, and as such has lived through periods of mainstream adulation and periods of audience apathy, it is because there are so many different organisations at present that wrestling as an art form survives. Let me break it down for you. Manchester United have dominated the Premier League since it's inception...right so far. Before that in another cycle Liverpool dominated the First Division... follow, now there is a battle to control the next cycle, between Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, however FOOTBALL is still the bigger cycle, football will survive long after those teams has swum away into the annals of history...yeah. They are involved in this cycle as are every other business on Earth, at present the WWE are in a comfort zone, where they can sell you anything they like, because there is no real viable competition yet, but that is bound to change, much as Man U had very little competition a few years back, but now they have plenty. This is the CYCLE. All things on Planet Earth are involved in cycles, whether they are aware of it or not. So for the umpteenth time this month, please stop saying I'm bored with this, that or the other, it will soon pass and you will wonder why you complained in the first place. Spiritchaser. Lived Long Enough To Be Patient.
  2. OK guys Jungmuta and Taijiri you both have missed my point entirely and when you have got the point in about mmmmmm! fifteen years you will understand. This is a generational fence and I have climbed over it you have yet to do so. When you do and you will, you will understand my frustration at thse who claim to be one thing but are nothing like what it is they claim to be. And by the way if I flame somebody I will not make it obscure I will tell them straight. I know there is more to wrestling than WWE but this was the specific compliant being made and whilst you claim there is no such thing as a downturn in business, it is called "A Grand Cycle" in business circles. Also, ask any wrestler who is invloved in the business and they will tell you the business is cyclical, so I am more inclined to go with their analysis than someone posting on an internet forum. Nobody, and I mean nobody knows what will work and what won't until they try it, thus we have a million different things happening at once, therefore those with low attention thresholds get "bored" of this that or the other. And by the way, my intelligence goes way beyond a wrestling thread into the realms of the real world were I have gained my respect over the last 18 years of my working life, whilst you where sitting drooling down your bib, I was out earning and watching American Wrestling. Before that in the seventies, I spent many Saturday afternoons at Live British Events and have watched wrestling since before you where even thought about. There are a great many things about wrestling that make it entertaining, not just the action or storylines, learn the psychology and mastery of making a crowd boo or cheer for you. This is one area that expands as you age grows, and one that tends to be ignored by those still to young to appreciate it to the fullest. Finally, before you reply I will just say this I am beyond this so there will be no retort from me, fight it out amongst yourselves as I have better things to do, than spend time arguing about semantics with pedants. Spiritchaser. Sacrosanct
  3. In order to have a valid argument you need to have solutions to your problems, otherwise you end up being "just another moaner". My point is that whilst the WWE is in a downturn, do you think that we as fans do not see that? You insult my intelligence by constantly complaining about the things that I can already see. If you guys are so clever and knowledgable, by all means let me hear your solutions. I give creedence to those with solutions, not to those who complain for the sake of it, because it seems to be the vogue thing to do. As far as no one venting their spleen, it has been going on for monthes now and when they do bring "something to the table" other than a useless rant, I listen intently. As far as me thinking the sun shines out of Vince's backside, that is one of the most childish and puerile statements I have ever read on this forum. Congratulations. Let me clarify for you. WWE is at the moment experiencing a slowdown in it's business, no big deal, this has happened since before you or I were born. What annoys me is the fact that so many turn their backs and fire parting shots at those who have literally broken their necks and other bones in the vain pursuit of entertaining you. It is a waste of time to complain to wrestling/WWE fans, we are all watching what you are and you are preaching to the converted, so unless you have a solution please stop wasting forum space by constantly complaining about the obvious. WE ALL KNOW! Spiritchaser. Problem Solver.
  4. LMAO for real Mr Remlap Sir. His hands must be full Eh! nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more to a blind badger. Spiritchaser. Going to Wash the Filth Off.
  5. Pardon? Spiritchaser. Non Comprendez.
  6. Guys I have a whole bag of shushes for you here! There are other forums on here you can slag WWE off on go do it there, without wishing to be rude. I am fed up to the back teeth with moaners and complainers. Spiritchaser. There you Go.
  7. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1)Taker is getting the belt to bring creedence to the title, end of story. 2)H3 won't be near any world title for a long time. No business. 3)What does reality have to do with wrestling? 4)Austin is done! 5)Angle Vs H3 would be good, but then again almost any match with Kurt in is decent. Spiritchaser Opinionated. :thumbsup
  8. Being a Fully paid up Creature of The Night I will let you both in on a little secret... whilst you seem to think that Bob's Boy deserves to even be in the same ring as 'Taker, you both are incorrect in your assumption that Bandy Randy would go over. Taker as I have said numerous times is on the verge of retirement, and true, real retirement not Terry Funk or Bob Greenberg retirement(lol) he will not lose his undefeated streak at Mania to anyone, period. In fact if he loses at all an any PPV from here to Mania I would be very surprised. Spiritchaser. Above and Beyond.
  9. Un-der-taker, Un-der-taker, Un-der-taker. The Man from The Darkside, The Phenom, The Deadman, Big Evil, 'Taker, Mean Mark Callous, The Punisher Dice Morgan, Big Red, Mr Mark Calloway, Skyscraper, Sir. Any of those guys will do it. Spiritchaser. In Contact With the Darkness.
  10. Spiritchaser has entered the building. Laaaydees and genelmen standing 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighing in at 228 pounds from Tombstone, Arizona, this is Spiritchaser. Moonchild by The Fields of the Nephilim booms out across the arena, girls scream and men roar. Dressed much like early Deadman but in long dark brown leather cropduster coat and weatherbeaten dark brown cowboy hat and tall walking staff with the faces of tree spirits carved into the surface. (The Destiny Stave). Dust blows around his feet and tumbleweeds atumble. Peircing green eyes look out from under the rim of his hat and he speaks much like Jake Roberts as though his throat is full of dust. He uses power moves(English forearms and powerslams) and ground based attacks and holds(surfboards and back damaging holds) with some aerial manouvres(moonsaults and torpedo dropkicks). Would be a heel to begin with using Destiny Stave to smack a few beeotches upside the head. Finisher would be Vertabreaker into rollup called Soul Remover. Would only battle for the big one as there is no other reason to be there! Spiritchaser. Leaving.
  11. Bibby, Bibby, Bibby Jack my dear boy everyone is linked to the second world war everyone. What on Earth are they teaching at school these days. I am beyond this small opinion that it is wrestling heat, and this is not political on my behalf, this is simple manners and a number of WWE staff members are sadly lacking in this department. I live in a city that is almost 800 years old (2008), which means that when the entire country of America is 232 years old we will have been around 568 more years, so why are we not leading the way with good manners. I knew better than JBL when I was five years old and I am a better person for it. A fact I would say to his face. Spiritchaser. Adult.
  12. WWFBeltMark this way of garnering heat brings an ice age. To all those who still beleive this to be an angle gone awry then let me just explain this. Since the inception of this war over petrol prices and oil in Iraq, the WWE has gone out of it's way in it's praise of the Armed Forces fighting for their freedoms, even to the point that The Great American Bash PPV will be free to the aforementioned men and women and rightly so. Freedom is not a right on this planet it is paid for by those who lay down their lives and have laid down their lives to defend it. Without them we would still be living in squalor and tilling the land ourselves and having to catch and kill our own food to survive, this is called Progress, right or wrong, nobody is perfect. However, when you have folks saying "oh its just a wrestling angle" you are missing the point by a nautical mile. This little episode may very well be an ice age for the WWE because how many men and women who have fought bravely are going to want to watch a product that undoes their hard work and effort? And spits in the face of fallen comrades in arms. It is purely blind arrogance and puts troops in further jeopardy by playing up to this Western stereotype. If Bradshaw were a Premiership footballer and did this at White Hart Lane they would string him up. There is no room for racists in the WWE and Vince should make a statement to all fans about this, or what next to gain heat will Bradshaw chase The Rock around wearing a white hood and carrying a noose. If it happens I turn off after a lifetime. And Bibs this would annoy me any day of the year. Spiritchaser. Clarifying.
  13. Ok boys now it's my turn. Bibby you are an annoying little teenager with no sense of right and wrong in the real sense, not in your wrestling/UFC addled brain. Sorry sunshine but your sense of perspective is myopic(look it up in a dictionary, like I had to, once upon a time.) Your asinine yapping all has to do with you wanting to be the one with the inside scoop to look clever. If you think you impress me or most others you are sadly mistaken. I am impressed by those people, my grandfather and six of his brothers, one your age and many thousands more who in the real world gave and took other boys lives so that your opinion would be yours and not state imbued(Dictionary Time). Now WWFBeltMark what Bradshaw did was not funny nor petty and ignorance is no defence, irrelevant of whether writers or John Layfield is responsible for this. Again, in the real world without those men ansd boys who fought there would be no WWE because Vince is not blond with blue eyes is he? Guldland get your own opinions! You are the worst kind of sheep. SavageFury when "The Fool" broke the law he kind of brought world politics into wrestling on the whole and this forum is a very minute fragment of that world, so without wishing to insult you politics is involved in every action and interaction that we take part in, in the real world. Chris2K and dRaven major respect and props to both of you. Your comments were spot on. These are the facts and thus are irrefutable, dictionary again. I no longer consider JBL to be a human being of any reknown just another predjudiced, discrimanatory punk. Of seven boys in my family who went to war only three came back. They were sappers (bomb and mine disposal at sea in a rowing boat at night) for the Royal Navy. Spiritchaser. Appalled.
  14. end of the crossface / big NO The Canadian Crippler did not receive that name via a popularity contest, beleive me that move can be devestating when applied correctly. There are many holds out there that are less effective, yet continue to be used sometimes incorrectly eg figure 4 a lot of wrestlers including Ric (The Man) Flair have taken to placing their opponents upper leg below the knee onto the shin when it is much more devestating when the upper leg is placed above the knee on the thigh muscle. Try it on your mates just for a second tho we don't want serious damage guys. The Crossface is painful in a number of places (shoulder, neck, lower lumbar region and if applied correctly the opponents nose.)Please don't let me get started on the Mandible Claw, Mankind put down The Phenom with that, yet Cowboy Bob's boy shakes it off, gimme a break.
