  1. When you look at it it looks like Hendry is dong all the forehead pushing, shoving and not releasing Lionheart from the corner. Lionheart works it our and then Hendry just takes him down to the canvas and shoves his forearms in his face. I don't see Lionheart retaliate until Hendry is literally on top of him. If it was in a promo then Hendry needs to buck up given that he's made a career out of singing songs mocking people. If it was backstage then punch Lionheart in the mouth and then have the match or don't. End of the day the ring is the workplace so be professional.
  2. Lionheart and Joe Hendry had a little shoot/handbag moment in Manchester this week. Rumour is Lionheart made an off colour remark about Hendry's missus backstage, Joe took that into the ring and shot on Lionheart. Lionhert was dropped from the tour which seems a little harsh given Joe took it into the ring. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSoD28uTOoE
  3. What I'd like to see is them using NXT as a stagingpoint between theindies and WWE. I'd love something like PoloPromotions to turn up on NXT with the ICW titles and challenge whoever is champs to a title v title, lose, have the NXT guys do a few events for ICW alongside NXT and then allow Polo Promotions to win back their belts and maybe the NXT ones for a short period. Something where it could go on for a decent amount of time, expose the talents to the two sorts of audience (because I think WWE guys would benefit from working with the more interactive European audiences) and ultimately bring on lots of new talent without necessarily having to have everyone "on" the NXT roster.
  4. I'd assume not given that those take longer to produce and come out, I'd assume the streaming side is to prevent people booking talent after WWE makes them famous and getting footage out immediately to capitalise on it. I wonder how this affects Wolfgang, he's ICW champ so he's probably got to lose the title on a taped show. I wonder if Dallas has a "Special Relationship" given they are probably the big indie name that is being linked with the network that will allow them to continue to broadcast their own stuff in parallel. The weird things I've read is WWE apparently have some financial stake in Floslam
  5. The answer is maybe but... All the guys mentioned have missed a few dates but if WWE are thinking of actively using them (which sounds like it's true) then why the fuck would you not bin off indie UK/Europe shows to work with the WWE? Plus I doubt any promoter or fan would begrudge any of these guys the chance to make it however remote or limited. There's no indication WWE are pulling the guys because they simply don't want them wrestling with certain promotions, unlike what was said above where TNA barely tape and so barely pay people a regular wage so preventing them from working for other promotions would be incredibly shitty.
  6. One suspects he'd drop it like it's hot even if he didn't if WWE are really sniffing around the UK scene again.
  7. Interested to see how the ICW/WWE potential relationship works on the network. They'll have to make the content over 18's only or tone it down and I can;t see Dallas censoring the show just to buddy with WWE... maybe.
  8. I would recommend people go out and get Raft from Itch.io as it's a great little game that's getting a lot of youtube play. It's really good fun and well worth downloading.
  9. It was interesting how he name checked HHH as well, I thought. Rather than just WWE.
  10. I wonder if it's less of a working relationship and more that it's easier to extricate Foley and give them a guy who won;t be working their shows due to injury than just pay off ICW for making Foley break their contract. As we talked about it seems that the antagonistic view of the indies has softened into somewhere WWE feels comfortable dealing with them as, if not equals, then at least legitimate enterprises where they can poach the best talent without the investment of having many developmental territories. WWE accomodate ICW here and then talents like Dar come their way that bit easier or vice versa.

    Problems at TNA?

At this point it's worse than WCW. WCW committed spectacular sepuku and imploded quickly, TNA is like death by a thousand cuts.Someone needs to put it out of its misery. Also, does anyone think it's a really petty thing for Dixie to sell part of the tape library meaning WWE now won't actually offer up on the company which might have just kept the promotion alive or at least secured some potential future for the talent. Feels like that's all about trying to stick one up to WWE despite the fact TNA is pretty much a joke as a company.

I'd maybe take Abyss, Drew, Ec3, Decay, The Wolves, Storm and the Hardy's. I'd maybe take Grado and stick him on NXT where his gimmick might have a chance to flourish and he could team up with Noam and maybe Drew and do some sort of Scottish connection thing and see how that takes off. I honestly don't see them taking on a lot of TNA talent long term, maybe a couple fo the tag team division, some for NXT and maybe one or two making an appearance on the main shows. I;m sure that this is more about WWE shoring up wrestling history so they have the tape libraries for the network and can now say what they like about any talent who happen to have been TNA employees previously. It gives Drew a little something since he;s obviously been world champ there which might give him the leg up to make a return to the main roster.
  14. I hope Dar gets a decent crowd reaction tonight, surely some people out there must know to sing his last name to seven nation army or the star wars stuff by now?

If TNA decided to become a parody-wrestling TV show and this is what they will do for every minute of programming going forth then fair enough. It'd be funny and I think fans would watch it for a laugh. If they continue to be a pro-wrestling company then it's totally lost in terms of really achieving TNA any long term positive gain.

A spike in ratings sure, how do you make TNA a viable, non joke of a promotion going off the back of this?

    Problems at TNA?

By who? The match last barely any time and is basically just signature moves and a couple of high spots, which they botch despite it being pre-taped and they could have re-recorded as much as they wanted. If it's ironic and self-aware it's not done in the context of being a gag piece, it's promoted as literal. It's funny in places but if that's what it was going for then the whole wrestling aspect was pointless because that bit is shown as a "real" thing. What are TNA going for? To be a parody/comedy wrestling company in the vein of Chikara? Where's the rest of the programming to match that vision?

Check the part where Matt nearly sets himself on fire at the end,
  22. That's literally the best and most accurate description of Matt Hardy I've ever read.
  23. We'd call them paedophiles probably...
