  1. Kind of a shame. Nog v Randy would've been a cerebral war to end all cerebral wars, but now Nog will tap Brock eventually.
  2. Oh for sure. I think he wanted Vince involved on some sort of business tip, but Vince's business is the wrestling business. He builds characters etc etc. Dana tries to do that and it's a reason I hate it there. Not to mention the sheer presence of Vince would give it the wrong feel. You don't want fakeness in something new. Especially as Dana will IMMEDIATELY call fight-fixing. Real life usually works out to be better thn viction. Fedor is actually a humble guy that doesn't talk alot, and looks very inconspicous right before he begins to quickly dismantle man. You can't write that
  3. I dunno. I really like Mark Cuban. He's passionate about what he does. But, more importantly...... ....he CUTS CHECKS! He's done whatever it took to try and turn the traditionally terrible Maverick's franchise around. In the world of MMA, he'll have a host of the big name fighters who burned the UFC for money. Most importantly, he listens to fans, instead of telling them what to think. If we want Fedor (which we do), we'd get Fedor. Dirt sheets are dirt sheets, but if we're to believe them, the leading issue that's stopped Fedor from being in the UFC, is that he wants his camp to get fight deals to. Cuban is the kind of guy who'd capitilize on that, and host an entire Russia v the World or USA or wtv show to makes sure he gets it done. The last thing Dana wants to see is effectively a US based version of PRIDE. He's not making it rain on his boys
  4. Exactly man. It's kinda hilarious White is so openly anti-wrestling as if you have eyes it's plain to see he desperately wants to be Vince and is trying to convert wrestling fans with the way he operates. UFC marks are just atrocious. Mirko comes to UFC, gets caught with a flash knockout (not the first time), and all of a sudden, he's a terrible fighter and Dana only signed him to prove how bad he was so he could destroy PRIDE. he's almost comedic.
  5. Which is truly reason why I don't like the UFC. I can't stand him, and the way he lives and draws his diehards into this fantasy land where they'll honestly believe someone like Chuck Lidell is the best fighter in the world. I can't stand it. It's the reason I hope Nogeira wins this mini-tournament, and that Andre Arvloski gets his grill rearranged by Fedor if they ever do fight. Some guys in the UFC are boss status, yes, but the UFC fan eltism just wares on me and anyone who watched PRIDE. On average, the fighters in PRIDE were better. Guys who consistently trained with outright legends and experts. Not 10 Americans dudes wrestling somewhere in the midwest. Dana tries so hard to sell guys who have the right look as so much more than they really are. And dareth anyone not verbally suck is dick, and automatically, they were always sh*tty fighters who he was just using
  6. Still, that's the biggest name in MMA making at most 2mil, with a chuck of that from revenue. Kelly Pavlik is a champion, but no main stream star, and unless he falls off something serious, will probably never fight for less than 4mil ever again. Too many MMA fans don't realise Dana White, to the media, is for the large part a blitering idiot, assh*ole, and lives in hyperbole land. Many people would try to tell you to your face that UFC is killing boxing when it's just not the case. Of all things related to combat, only wrestling's numbers have gone down. Dana should focus is ridiculous rants and dumb comments on them. It's a fight he could actually win.
  7. 250k guaranteed.....that's all? This will prolly be the highest selling fight in UFC history and theiy're still getting a fraction of big time prize fight purses. Boxing's dead in the water, eh Dana?
  8. You have no clue do you? If Wrestling is just about pro-freaking wrestling why on Earth is one of the greatest moments in the company's history a stare-down with Mike Tyson? Heck, if you wanna say "well that's not ole school wrasslin'!" argument, why did Cindy Lauper play a role at WrestleMania I? In fact, why did MR. T main event WM I? Wrestling is or was about being in touch with mainstream. Reflecting the times. Now, however, it's blatantly obvious how out of touch they are. When Mayweather had his run in the spring, to me, it only served to make must people on the roster look INCREDIBLY corny. Here you have a known athlete who would probably bleed charisma if anyone could ever manage to bust him open. Every single thing about him was here and now. Came to the ring to 50 Cent. Was rolling about 15 deep with his boys and dressed as if he actually knew what year it was. On the flip side, we have two old guys parading about in baseball hats with tight, faded Levi's? That's not hot in the streets.
  9. He's questioning you because it's a pretty BS reason to slate a guy. Don't find him entertaining, wtv, but the "he does the same thing every match" deal is ridiculous, as every wrestler under the sun does.
  10. I'm so proud of this. It's perfect, especially now with the weather being sh*tty everywhere but Florida: http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb123/mofndollaz/newdesktop-1.jpg
  11. "Danny-san, you release the doves AFTER you rotate in slow motion brandishing your two Beretta 92F's"
  12. It'd be impossible for May not to like the CTS-V. He liked the Quadraportte as a big 4-door that handled like a pristine coupe', and the CTS-V is the quickest production 4-door sedan ever. And with it being such a factual episode, I was kinda shocked Jeremy didn't harp on the fact that as of now the ZR1 Vette is the fastest production car to ever go around the 'Ring. The 'Vette and the CTS-V, along with the Ford GT before it goes a way to confirm something I've always believed. When they set out to put the Italians, Germans, Japanese, and English in their place, no one can build faster cars.
  13. Perfect. Always loved that about the SD! games. Play it once through and afterwards you can do as you wish.
  14. Then you don't know much about MMA. Randy won't be finishing anyone fast, especially a wrestler (his forte) that's bigger, stronger, and faster than he is. If Randy's winning this, it's on sheer determination and ring smarts, and more than likely late in the fight.
  15. That's actually an excellent point. With Finlay as a face, the only heel who can go out and carry a random face to a good match is Regal.
  16. For all the good Heyman just said, there's one glaring example of his flawed genius. Chingo Bling, Paul? Really? Not Bun B, not Mike Jones, not Chamillionaire, not Paul Wall, not even Lil' Keke....but Chingo Bling? That's the sort of thing that get'd brought up in a discussion, and because of the sheer stupidity of it, immediately discount everything he's said.
  17. Shame for Paul then. He's been with the E for a long time now. Had himself a great tag title run. Guess they just couldn't think of anything for him to do. Kendrick can transcend above the Cruiser division with his gimmick. London would be just another face in the crowd. ROH crowd will blow the roof off the second "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" hits. He's been out since '03
  18. Vietnamese and US specials this season will be epic
  19. Well, I think you gave yourself the answer you're so desperately looking for. Those who have an eye for film composition and a knowledge of the classics would be the best to compile what they feel are the "best" movies, the same way publications like Motor Trend are the best to decide what are the "best" cars. I feel you can accept something as well made, properly put together, and well thought out, but not necessarily enjoy. They're rating film quality. Film critics (and to a lesser movie buffs in general), can end up liking a movie just because they can tell just how well made it is. That's what these lists are about. Movies that are well made, whether or not you like them is up to you, but I usually feel these lists are good at giving you some things to check out.
  20. woah pump your brakes kid Glacier was the greatest of the great WCW low-carders.
  21. Santino doesn't look eastern-euro at all, yet he still worked this gimmick a million times better in OVW.
  22. Toss in Larry Fitzgerald, who even above Boldin and Doucet, is your number 1 reciever, and you'll start to see why the red birds passing offense is to be feared. Fitz and Anquan (who, along with Devin Hester, is from my area :D) have been recognized as probably the two most downright physical recievers in the NFL. In a position dominated by flash and finesse, they absolutely lower the boom to defensive backs. Doucet is in the same mold. The defending superbowl champions New York Football Giants roll into St. Louis and continue their road winning streak, 11 in a row dating back to last season after this 41-13 win.
