Guest Anime Otaku
Possibly related to the Wonder Woman news is that Batman is getting another reboot after the "The Dark Knight Rises" supposedly so that DC can make a JLA movie in answer to Marvel's Avengers movie. http://uk.movies.yahoo.com/blog/article/153772/batman-to-be-rebooted-again.html
etz 78
Why the hell do they need to reboot Batman to do the Justice League? That really makes no sense at all. If anything, you'd take Nolan's Batman and do a fourth Batman movie where the JLA starts to come together.

etz 78
Nolans Batmans world is trying to be realistic, stuff like Superman and The Flash just wouldnt fit. I think they could, if it's not overdone. After all, Superman is an alien, so his powers are acceptable in the most gritty, realistic setting anyway. Besides they could just lighten the tone of the fourth movie a bit without going for a reboot into total campy shite. Besides, a gritty Nolanesque Superman is something I'd love to see. Something like where Superman catches the child falling out the window of a burning building while the mothers skin melts off her face as she screams and dies. Or maybe he uses his superbreath to put out the fire.... and freezes someone who was still inside.
Guest Saz
The popular Batman franchise is set for yet another major reboot once Christopher Nolan completes his current trilogy. Next year's 'The Dark Knight Rises' will be the final film with Nolan as director, however, he will continue as producer for future instalments. Nolan first started working on Batman in 2005 with his hugely successful 'Batman Begins' – which focused on the story behind how a young Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) became the Caped Crusader. It was seen as one of the most drastic reboots in superhero cinema history, taking it back to the gritty roots of the Dark Knight. And now the series is set to be revamped yet again. Warner Brothers’ president Jeff Robinov told the LA Times: "We have the third Batman, but then we’ll have to reinvent Batman… Chris Nolan and (his producing partner and wife) Emma Thomas will be producing it, so it will be a conversation with them about what the next phase is.” The big question surrounding this surprising revelation is “Why?” The latest reboot saw the Batman franchise transformed from a series of camp adventure movies starring a fairly embarrassed George Clooney and, although well acted, a laughable Robin played by Chris O’Donnell into a rough and ready action thriller that served as a perfect platform to elevate Batman back to the top of the superhero hierarchy (and quite rightly too). Further plans revealed by Robinov suggest possible reasons behind the decision as it seems Warner Brothers have grand plans set out for the future of superhero films. The movie boss revealed he is keen to finally get the 'Justice League' up on the big screen. It will be DC Comics' answer to the upcoming Marvel superhero team move 'The Avengers' - which features 'Iron Man', 'Hulk', 'Thor’ and ‘Captain America'. Whether Superman or Batman will appear in a 'Justice League' movie is unclear as yet, but expect to see 'Green Lantern', 'Wonder Woman' and 'Flash', among others. Robinov wants the movie to be released in 2013. Guest Dante Spears
Does anyone else remember when it took like 20 years after a last film to do a reboot? I miss those days
Guest Nemesis Enforcer
It depends what they mean by reboot, are they going to redo the story of him again again (like Nolan with Batman Begins) or just make it less Nolanish? I can't see a need for another retelling of his back story, just move on from where Nolan leave off with a new Director/writer who will make the future of Batman more JLA friendly. Guest John Hancock
Ergh. Justice League is rubbish, and new Batman is awesome. I condemn this reboot. I CONDEMN IT!
Guest Seraphina
I loved the Dark Knight....it was the awesome, gritty Batman who blurs the line between hero and villain that we all knew Bruce Wayne could be. Batman was...well, he was different. In terms of attitude and approach, even in the comics, he was always the outsider in the Justice League, despite being one of the 'Big Three'. Superman: "I don't want to wear a mask. I want people to trust me...I want them to be able to see my face." Batman: "I'm going to dress up like a bat and make you shit yourself." Nolan's Batman was Batman....as much as I could do without Christian Bale's ridiculous Batman voice, it really was the Batman that I'd been waiting my whole life to see :) I really hope that, if they are doing a reboot... a) It isn't another origin story. We don't need one. b) Batman stays dark. He's a dark character. c) He does not have a f*cking Bat Credit Card.

Guest Nemesis Enforcer
I used to have that old 60's Batman movie on video (thus showing how long ago it was) and I still crack up thinking about that scene but as a kid I totally bought into it :lol
Guest Seraphina
How about "Shark Repellent Bat-Spray"? I shall accept the shark repellent bat spray, provided Robin learns to climb a rope ladder....honestly, for a character who's meant to be able to scale sheer walls and leap across rooftops alongside Batman, the boy wonder climbed down that thing like an old man with a dodgy hip. Would that be acrobat Dick Grayson of The Flying Graysons fame? Always bugged me how that was conveniently left out of the TV show.

Guest Seraphina
No, we got rid of the Bat-Bat. It was too confusing. Well, it can't be called the bat-paddle. That's already Batman's pattented swimming technique. Perhaps we should use the Bat-club? Oh, wait...no....that's what Bruce Wayne named the casino he opened downtown....you know it's very odd that he'd name it that. You'd honestly think that guy had a crush on Batman or something... Oh! I know! The Bat-Bludgeon! That one isn't so bad, actually.... "Put an end to your wicked ways, Penguin, because I'm this close to whipped out the Bat-Bludgeon!" ....No...wait...sounds like prison lingo.... Urh....back to the drawing board.
