I've never really cried at a film, but the ones where I've come the closest are Green Mile, Forrest Gump, Schindler's List and Pan's Laberinth.

I'm such a sucker for the big emotional build that directors do on purpose! I don't cry at girlie films though, generally i'm pretty stone-faced with those.

 

I cry at adverts quite a lot, not a full on cry but a small tear definitely.

Actually, this is quite f'n sad, but I was extremely gutted when poor old Charlie drowned in Lost. I didnt cry, but I was gutted. I liked him! Mr Eko too...all the best characters are gone.

I don't cry in films, but one part that made me feel quite emotional was during the film Across the Universe. There's a scene where a young boy is singing Let It Be.

It would probably be easier for me to list the ones I DON'T cry at! I mean, I cried at the end of Terminator 2!!! But a few that stand out are:

Armageddon (3 parts-when Bruce Willis is saying goodbye, when the woman says to the wee boy "that mans no salesman, that's your daddy" and when Chick sees his son running up to him...Goosebumps just typing it).

What Dreams May Come (full on, hiccupy, snotty tears too)

Schindlers List (little girl, red coat)

La Bamba (when Richies mum hears he died)

it would be Short Circuit for me when I was about 10 and I though Johhny 5 had been blown up .... but low and behold he had built a decoy of himself!

The scene at the end of The Champ, when he dies....absolute buckets. And also the end of Old Yeller. Gets me everytime because i love dogs, and in particular labradors.
