Here's the 'fake' list of what may or may not appear this year.

Project Natal will debut on Sunday Night, and the show will kick off properly on Monday.

Certain to appear at E3

Killzone 3

LBP2

Dead Space 2

Guitar Hero 6

This appeared on Twitter from, er, somewhere, so it's hard to vouch for its validity.

Almost certain to appear at E3

Resistance 3 (as leaked on movie sets last year)

InFamous 2 (first game did well, so...)

Twisted Metal: Harbour City (David Jaffe denies this, mind, and while a Twisted Metal game has long been mooted, we're not expecting one... well, not by this name at least).

Likely to appear at E3

Call of Duty: MMO (the Sledgehammer project, perhaps)

Mass Effect 3

MotorStorm 3

Feint possibility at E3

Bad Company 3 (given BC2's success, it's just a logical commercial decision, even if this E3 is too early to reveal it)

Road Rash HD (this WAS being looked into at EA, but last we heard they'd indefinitely postponed it).

Would be a huge, huge surprise

Fahrenheit 2 (Heavy Rain did well, but... first we've heard of it)

God of War 3: Afterfall (We've never, ever, heard of this, but it could be the DLC pack featuring a Titan battle that did the internet rounds a few weeks back)

Omikuden (only because we've never heard of it).

Is the actual list real?

Probably not - but some of the games on it very definitely are. And there's a lot of hot titles NOT on this list which will set tongues wagging come E3.

Will we get another Gran Turismo announcement, 5 YEARS AFTER it was first announced? Probably. I wouldn't be surprised if Forza 4 is announced and released before GT 5.

There's also some rumours of a certain little Vice City 2 being announced, but Rockstar pulled the announcement from E3, they will have a showcase of new stuff within the month on their own terms.

Valve also have a surprise that isn't Portal 2.

Read about the surprise that isn't Portal 2 news about a week or so ago. Really, really hoping it's Half-Life 2: Episode 3... or heck, even Half-Life 3.

Nintendo will almost CERTAINLY be showing a cinematic trailer for a new Zelda game. Nintendo will also be hammering home the 3DS I'd imagine.

I wouldn't be too surprised at seeing an XBOX 360 slim, and a PSP2. I have a feeling Sony will be shooting their load with 3D games.

Mortal Kombat announced:

Warner Bros. announced a new Mortal Kombat game this morning, and Seven of Nine is nowhere to be found. The game, called simply Mortal Kombat, appears to be a return to the classic Mortal Kombat 2/3 style of gameplay -- extremely quick, 2D fighting -- which has been given a fresh coat of 3D paint and a very noticeable 60 frames-per-second framerate. It also features a man being sliced open at the groin with a spinning hat.

It adds a new tag team mode for up to four players, allowing teams to play through a "co-op arcade mode" or compete online against other pairs of e-murderers.

The game is being developed by Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon and NetherRealm Studios (the former WB Games Chicago) and is slated for launch on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2011.

Joystiq.

So, Microsoft's Natal rename has been leaked, from now on it's Kinect. Also there's more rumours of a 360 "slim" that will be released around the same time with Kinect being bundled with it, that will feature Wifi as standard (Catching up with PS3 are we?) and 250gb storage.

News from the 360 Keynote

Call od Duty: black Ops looks really good. Out November 9th. All DLC for CoD will be first out on the 360 until the end of 2012 (or until we die because of the Mayans)

Gears of War 3 looks better.

ESPN coming to 360, not sure if it's just for US users or Worldwide, but it will stream over 3500 sporting events with most in HD.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising looks to be more hack n' slash than stealthy quietness.

Milo nowhere to be seen around Kinect. Kinect out November 4th. Oh and it DOES recognize black people. Also there's Kinect Video, so it's almost time to throw away X-Box Live Vision.

Kinect getting Wii type fitness & sports games, except more interactive and less cheaty. Also a much improved dancing game called Dance Central.

New Star Wars game for Kinect, which looks pretty good.

No Pricing for Kinect yet.

15 Launch titles for Kinect too.

New X-Box Slim will be out THIS WEEK. July 16th release in UK £199.99 price tag.

Kinect looks good, I'm sold. It's out Nov 4th.

I want a 360 slim now. How did they keep that one so quiet?

Call of duty looks like nothing special really.

Not a bad conference, but not great either.

Kinect looks far less than promised a year ago, and the games shown for it have been very blah up to now. The PS3 move looks no better, though the potential in depth perception seems to be far better than the 360s (though thats only from first viewing, could end up far worse).

No, impressed with neither really. Non of them are game changers.
