OK, so we had a 'Final Destination' rip off, then a 'Back to the Future' inspired one. Blah, I know they are running out of ideas, but still... mind, the one where they

find and kill Eve

has brought up a LOT of questions...

Well, early renewal for another season, and a double episode this week leaves me hoping that the Castiel issue remains at least somewhat unresolved. I'd love to see him as the "bad" guy next season, despite the fact he's not actually bad. Both brothers sacrificing themselves to redeem Castiel wouldn't be a bad way to end it all.

 

Unless, of course, they get an eight season....which I doubt, despite the fact I really want them to.

Castiel becoming ultimately bad-ass, popping Raphael's head and becoming immune to angel swords

 

 

then yeah, that's the end of Season 6.

Just seemed to be rather...cliff hangery. If this IS the last season, I would have thought the ending wouldn't have been as, well "find out next time folks!".

 

Maybe that's just me.

It's been picked up for early renewal for Season 7, so it makes sense.

Yeah, the renewal was made public at the end of April, along with a couple of other series.

Just a small note, on the last episode of season 6. When Dean said "T-Rex" when that puddle was shaking, was ace!

 

I'm thinking perhaps, a Lucifer / Michael / Dean / Sam / Bobby V Castiel / Crowley (can't see him being on the same side as Lucifer) / Purgatory

 

Perhaps they could have the real god come back and just wipe both sides out? :)

I can't see Lucifer teaming with the meatsuits. Besides, he still wants to bring about the apocalypse, which Castiel, for all that he's done, stopped by opening purgatory, because Raphael was determined to restart it.

 

I can see God providing Dean and Sam with the knowledge of how to redeem Castiel but refusing to intefere past that.

Ah yeah good point. :)

 

Would be good though, interesting to see who would "side" with who and for what reasons.

 

 

Has all the makings of a great next season "Who will stop Cas?".

 

 

 

I just hope they can deliver and I'm sure they will.
