The official synopsis is as follows -:

"In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever. Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady’s uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City."
They go on to say...
“The team at Rocksteady Studios is putting a tremendous amount of work into delivering the final chapter of our Batman: Arkham trilogy so that fans can feel what it’s like to be the Batman… We’re excited to be developing the game for next-gen platforms, which has allowed us to bring to life the design elements that we envisioned from the beginning such as the Batmobile and how it augments Batman’s abilities, to the fully detailed and realized Gotham City.”
Rumours of Hush playing a bigger part are also starting to build.

The word coming out through IGN and other sources is that the gameworld will be around 5x bigger than the one in Arkham City, while the Batmobile will be at your beck-and-call throughout the game. Additional comments say that the Batmobile will compliment Batman's fighting style / weaponry and also feature a launcher so you can eject out of it while moving straight into a glide.

Finally, quick-time gadgets can be fired in flight now too.

It could be a good thing to hold off a while. Look at the grief they got for releasing the last one with all it's glitches and stuff. Doing the same again could cause a lot of damage to the franchise as a whole.

Some proper gameplay footage and it's pretty much more of the same (albeit much better looking), with the exception of the Batmobile stuff.

Gotham looks gorgeous and the seamless entering-driving-around-exiting the car could be fun.

I'm really looking forward to this game... it's just a shame the video shown to the masses glitches badly at the 3:50 mark.

According to Kevin Conroy, while the game has been delayed until 2015 (meaning the answer to my thread title is "no"), it's going to be January 2015, so it's only three months later than planned.

Conroy knows nothing; the game now has an official release date of June 2nd 2015.
