  1. Just there's been talk of Dusty commentary... Time to wheel this one out. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> About 45 seconds in is where you want to be. "He's Got a BICYCLE!"
  2. The talentless nephew who made what little of a career he had on the back of BEING Shawn Michaels nephew... ? Why yes, I believe it is.
  3. TNA. Come ooooooooon, somebody had to say it...
  4. All I meant was that I misunderstood what DMJ was trying to say. Last time I try to be helpeful. :lol Also, just to Jayfunkadoodle - I agree, I thought Abyss getting drunk was brilliant... but then it only got funnier when I thought of what Abyss used to be (cha' know, a "threat")... ahaha, how I laughed and laughed.
  5. I can sort of see what DMJ is saying - although I don't agree with it. Like, Abyss for example - a few years ago he was being booked as the baddest mutha' on the entire TNA roster and at that point all the news folk were saying WWE was interested in signing him. Now a few years on he's little more than a joke and I'm sure the 'E have a good few men in their sights over him. Sort of the booking of a wrestler can aid perception. However it's fairly flawed - cause bosses can see talent and potential through any sort of gimmick and can always buy the wrestler in and use them 'right' or reinvent them.
  6. With Terry demanding to be burst open hardway - to be carried out on a stretcher only to return half an hour later during Steamboat's thank-you speech to continue the fight with Dusty, with nothing but a bandage round his head and blood still dripping from under it ! I give this ceremony my seal of approval.
  7. Jarrett OWNS the company. Any excuse to put Sting in anything is good. Nash still has backstage rub. Steiner - it would of been down to his opponents.
  8. The idea that anything loses artistic credibility when it becomes mainstream is just a pretentious bunch of sh*te from students who need anything to make themselves sound better than you.
  9. Yeah and Jarrett now runs TNA - which as everyone knows WWE fear. If anything it's probably his fault first that the match is excluded... don't want to be giving the opposition any obvious exposure.
  10. Hell, even today with most of these guys would you REALLY risk it ?!? (excepting Rude for fairly obvious reasons)
  11. Listening to some Manic Street Preachers :D I absolutely love their cover of 'Suicide is Painless'.
  12. I don't give a toss how great TNA was, the Grish owned all those fans !
  13. JBL was brilliant - not only for backing the bad guys... but also for damn well putting down the heels he didn't like. Miz is THE prime example of someone week in and week out Bradshaw just insulted and it made Miz all the more unlikeable for it. When the guy who usually likes the villians hates you... boy there must be something seriously wrong with you ! ! He was just a lovely fresh breath of air :(
  14. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iq2fiCgq6_U&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iq2fiCgq6_U&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> And if you don't think this is funny - you have NO soul. Absolutely fantastic moment. I apologise for the lack of quality.
  15. It's probably gonna be one of them... why guess only one and get it wrong when you can guess them ALL and only have to edit the mistakes out later. Simple.
  16. Awww no, no, no. A1 was the WORST member of Team Canada. Hell Williams although overrated had some vague ring abilities, Young was the fantastic bump fiend and Roode was the mean looking son of a gun. A1 was just big, looked awkward and was a blonde... no legitimate or worthwhile big guy is blonde !!!! HOWEVER I completely agree with MVP and the love for managers.
  17. The Simpsons isn't aimed at kids. It's a more easily marketable programme towards kids - but it's not specifically towards kids. It's got a whole host of more adult-related jokes and plain ingenious lines. I enjoy both of the programmes. Unfortunately no matter how good Family Guy is/was/will almost ever be The Simpsons had a number of series (about 4-7) where absolutely EVERY episode was must-see brilliance. And the number of absolutely AMAZING moments that the Simpsons have written I just don't believe will ever be matched by Family Guy. Really, really don't.
  18. See but that played PERFECTLY with the story that had led up to the match. So I really don't understand where your issue is - it was consistent which I would think is a more important detail than anything else. If that was your problem then you shouldn't of enjoyed any of the build towards the match which then in and of itself would stop you rating the match 5* going by the pre-mentioned criteria that Jimmy was referring to.
  19. Yes Eagofuffle did. He was sinfully bad. Like Christmas faked it's own kidnapping just to blame him and stop his reign of hiddeous singing. Arrrrgh. It was a shame the woman in London ruined the surprise of Beyonce :lol
  20. You know, I really didn't think Kobashi/Joe was that great... I've said it. And I don't say it to be 'oooh controversial' or wacky - I bought the DVD after all the hype, watched it and couldn't help thinking at the end "that was IT ?!" But it was late, and I couldn't believe my disappointment, so I've rewatched it a number of times and still always the same. I just don't see the huge deal. However I absolutely loved the Kobashi/Akiyama match !
  21. Fans enjoying a match does not psychology make.
  22. In a very big Iron Maiden mood at the moment. Got all their studio albums stored on m'laptop and we're on random. :) Cheering me up something wonderful. At the moment we're on Powerslave - good wee tune from one of m'favourite albums.
  23. Last post on it... but B&C just said they were pals on TV so that people would stop bullying them. Yeah, that's the truth. Why are neither of them in WWE now ? They were sick of being picked on ! ! That's right. And Evan Bourne's SSP is owesum. Maybe not beaten as many big names - but looks fantastic.
