Every now and then I get pulled into Hollyoaks. It's such a trashy show, but easily more watchable than any other Soap on TV.

 

Also, I seem to watch anything with Gok Wan in. My mum usually watches them, and as they start I enter the living room to get to the kitchen to "get a drink", and usually end up watching the whole show. :lol

 

Also, The F Word and Kitchen Nightmares. F*cking love those, Gordon Ramsey is brilliant.

Yeah, reality shows in general I cant stand, whether they're obnoxious (arent they all?) or boring. Like, its just me, but I dont find entertainment in watching other people act like douchebags, or watching them be humiliated. Its not fun.

Been watching Smallville slip into oblivion for 9 years now.

Also American Idols latest season is kinda entertaining.

Plus loads of American sitcoms which are just awful but an easy way to kill 20 mins

The Joy Of Painting is actually awesome. I don't even feel guilty about that, that's just a complete pleasure.

Gutted though, because I can't find a clip of him cleaning out his brushes. It always makes me laugh because the guy giggles to himself as he cleans his brush out and slaps it off the legs of the easel.

Snog, Marry, Avoid? - Seriously, this is awesome trash tv. Slappers getting cussed out by a make believe computer, then getting "made under" to get rid of "all that fakery". Awesomely awesome. :lol

This show is absolutely brilliant. You sit there, open-mouthed, at the monstrocities being paraded before POD.

 

Add me to the fan-club for Takeshi's Castle, Total Wipeout, Ninja Warrior and Wildest Police Video-style shows (Wildest "INSERT SOMETHING" Video shows in general) also.

Countdown shows.

 

Doesn't matter what the thing they're counting down is, I always get hooked. Usually in a more of a channel hopping way.

I'm like that too. You'll channel hop, come across a Top 50/100/whatever, say you'll watch a couple and end staying to the end.

I dont think I am even slightly embaressed by anything I watch, but some of the stuff I like has been mentioned on her, such as the Wipeout/Takeshis Castle style stuff, cookery shows, soaps (except Hollyoaks, even I'm not that low :P) and Smallville.

I don't mind the reality TV type documentaries, like A&E, Dog The Bounty Hunter or Stormchasers - at least they have a point.

 

The kind of RTV I can't stand is "Celebrity this, Celebrity that" Seriously I fear for the intelligence and society of this country if a show about 8 social experiments in a house - can dominate the news all summer, or if deadhead z listers in a jungle can do the same.

How quickly do they talk in that show? I know what you mean though, if I can switch it off within the first minute then I'm okay, if I watch any more than that then it stays on til the very end.

 

I also often find myself thinking that...well...y'know...the whole mother and daughter thing...:-0
