Not that many to be honest, I've never been to any really big gigs or festivals like Slane and whatnot mainly because I'm a cheapskate and I'm not really fond of the idea of being upwards of 40 spondulas to see a band. The bands/singers I've seen have all been in smaller venues for a lot cheaper. It also means I've seen a few bands/singers before they became 'big', Arctic Monkeys and The Fratellis to name but two. Anyway I've seen the following mostly in Belfast and Derry:

Paddy Casey (2)

Damien Dempsey (2)

Damien Rice

Christy Moore (3)

The Wolfetones

Aslan (5) - that seems like quite a lot to see one band but whatever they're the best band in the world bar none.

Duke Special

Paolo Nutini - I have my reasons. These reasons include brown hair and nice boobs. Not on Paolo Nutini though. Obviously.

The Fratellis

Tim Westwood - Please don't crucify me for seeing this bellend. It was Freshers Ball, Ash were the other choice (and not even a good one but in comparison to Westwood...) but the queue was huge so we had to make do with listening to Westwood talk like he's Puff Diddy Pippy Pop Daddy all night.

Arctic Monkeys

The Undertones (4)

Bell X1

A bunch of other tribute bands too ranging from Thin Lizzy to Stone Roses.

:eek Take that back. Razorlight rule! P.s Where was this gig?

It was Noise and Confusion 05 at Cardiff Millenium Stadium. They soud very thin and out of place on a big stage. Very poor live band.

Why not?

Well people only go to see them for the 100 years out of date political message they are trying to put accross, surely it's not the music because that just sucks.

Ol' Boyo's list isn't very long, but the concerts were very good:

U2 Popmart at Wembley

Tenacious D at Hammersmith just two Mondays ago

Jools Holland at Cardiff

Sting (Dad took me when I was 14...) in San Jose, CA!

Doves - Wolverhampton

And that's it.

Bands I would love to see live are:

The Strokes

Beck

Guns n Roses

Queens of the Stone Age

Oasis

Cheers!

Why?

Because the British took our land..blah blah blah :roll. Get over it and focus that anger on Bertie instead :lol
