screw you and your logic... a guitar shop? And why would someone who needs a GUITAR repaired go to a GUITAR shop?

I've had a quick skeg at the screws/nuts/bolts etc isle in Homebase (I offered to "tidy" it, see ;)), and couldn't see anything. And there's no guitar shop near me, so, it's a bit of a puzzle.

Have you thought of having a look to see if Total guitar has a forum, because they have a part of the magazine which deals with repairing guitars when i last read the magazine so who know it may have a section on the website where fellow guitarists have repaired there own gear.

This really isn't hard to fix as long as you get the matching washer. You usually just take the back plate off, push the jack forwards, and rescrew the washer into place. Job done.
