Big Red Phone.

I often wonder if Kane was remasked simply so that Glenn Jacobs could have a decent haircut again.

Yes, Necro has wrestling skill. I've seen matches of his in which he works a technical, mat-based style.

In fact, and I've said this before, it's a common misconception that deathmatch wrestlers can't wrestle, 99% of them have just as much wrestling skill as any other wrestler. It's actually the bookers fault when they do nothing but hit each other with weapons, basically the bookers know they are willing to do weapons matches, so they don't want to see wrestling moves, they just want a weapons-fest minus the wrestling moves. Of course, good bookers let them show off their wrestling skill in both normal matches and deathmatches.

MASADA brought it up in an interview, in which he said that he asked Necro Butcher why he didn't show off his wrestling skill at times, instead just hitting people with weapons. Necros answer was that that's what he was booked to do, it's the booker who tells them how they want the match worked, so that's how they work the matches.

I wasn't saying it because I think deathmatch wrestlers can't work, I have just ONLY seen Necro in Death Matches. There is actually a really good Indie Wrestling documentary that talks to Necro. Really cool guy.

Is that Bob Sapp with Necro in the second picture down?

Yes, they had a match in 2010 on one of the Antonio Inoki shows.

Fair enough.

Necro Butcher is a horrible wrestler. He has no fluidity, no athleticism and no co-ordination. Everything he does looks sloppy and fake, which is why he relies on 'real' punches, headbutts and being dropped on his head.

Again, I've seen Necro matches in which he works a technical mat-based style. He was fluid and coordinated, and I've always thought Necro was far more athletic than he gets credit for (doing perfect hurancanranas, for one example).

So no, you're wrong.

EDIT - Also, you claim everything he does looks "fake", but then state that his punches and headbutts are real.....I'm confused, if he's doing them for 'real', how could they possibly look 'fake'?

I think Jack's saying that, when Necro works moves, he look too fake, so he has to do everything legit to stop it from looking stupid.

I don't know if I'd agree with that, but I think that's what Jack's saying.

But his 'worked' moves look fine to me.

Whatever that means, as all his moves are worked. Yes, he works stiff, but so do hundreds of other wrestlers.
