ShadowEdge 48
Do you lose all respect for an athlete caught in a doping scandal or do you give them a second chance? I'm always surprised when it happens. Do you think the fighters actually believe they'll get away with it or is it accidental?
Guest Meerkat
Do you think the fighters actually believe they'll get away with it or is it accidental? What do you mean "accidental"? Do you mean that the athlete did not know what he or she is swallowing? To me, athletes who are caught doing enhancement drugs shouldn't be given another chance because if they were given a chance, then it tell the other athletes that it is okay to do it as long as you are not caught. Evelyn 26
I think most athletes know they're cheating, but one or two might really just use a body cream or consume something because a trainer or doctor gave it to them. In that instance, it's possible it was all just a mistake. I can forgive the first positive result if the athlete handles it correctly. Just immediately accept responsibility and hang your head in shame.
ShadowEdge 48
I can handle it when an athlete tests positive for something like marijuana or another drug of that nature, but I lose respect for those who come up with performance-enhancing drugs in their system. Classified 17
I read somewhere that Vida Blue, a baseball pitcher back in the 70's, dropped a little acid before a game and threw a no-hitter. Apparently to him, LSD was a performance enhancing drug.
