The Impossible Burger

Burger King will sell its Impossible Whopper later this year. The patty's made of soy and has beef-like texture. The comments reviewers made so far sound like "I can tell it's not real meat" or "If you didn't tell me, I would've thought it was the real thing." I'm curious!

If Burger King is willing to offer such kind of burgers, then I guess the taste closely resembles the real meat. However, if I wanted a burger, then I will want to eat the real one and not the fake one.

From what I read, only a few restaurants filed for bankruptcy and not the whole food chain. The move to offer burgers with vegetable-based patty might be a way to attract new customers.

I'm curious about this non-flesh patty, although I've seen a few local restaurants offering meat alternatives in their menu. The alternatives were mostly mushrooms, but they don't really have the same taste like the real meat.
