When I move into my own place in a few months, I want to get a house cat. White black or gray. All solid color, so how does the name Sarah sound? I'll take suggestions.

My wife is a great authority on cats, and she says tabbies have the best temperament. We like the name Sarah! Is the cat definitely going to be a girl? She says they can be more aloof.

Sarah is okay, I guess. I'm more of a non real name for pets though. You know like: Tag, Sparkle, fattycat, moomoo. It's up to you though!
My wife has dubbed the local cats Toffee-Toes ( ginger ) - Mr Socks ( black and white ) - Daisy ( tabby ) and Willow ( grey. ) She had a black cat called Fabienne. Do you fancy the name Fabienne?
Sarah sounds great. Make sure she has a source of water to be around. I don't know why, but I have always associated the word Sarah with bodies of water.
Rylan - those are great names! I say name her whatever makes you happy. I've always gone with the non-traditional names too. If she likes Sarah, Sarah it is.
It's a beautiful name that lends itself to some cool nicknames. You've got Sassy Sarah, Sassafras, Great Ball of Sass, and Sukey. Oh, and Sarah Scissorhands for when you upset her and the claws come out.

Sarah Scissorhands..........I think I knew her once. LOL Went from purring to clawing in no time flat.

So the high-end food and carpeted cat house it is.

I do plan on spoiling her.

Sorry, but a cat deserves a proper Christian name for public use. Imagine the embarrassment when the vet calls out, "Fattycat," and off you go with him. Poor thing will be the laughing stock.

@Rylan10, I quite like Fabienne!

That's a good point, @Poppy. There has actually been a recent case in the UK where the parents of a boy wanted to christen him "Lucifer," but the registrar told them to think twice about it. They then went on TV to complain about their treatment!
