Reading this thread brings back good memories of TV like they don't make anymore.

However isn't the thread a bit old to be bringing back Showstoppa?

Maybe - but who doesn't like indulging in nostalgia? Oh alright, I ran across a clip of Albert on the internet and wanted to post it - happy? :lol

Does anyone remember a cartoon about King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table?

The Legend of Prince Valiant, maybe?

Shows I remember as a kid are

He-man

She-ra

Ducktales

Gummi Bears

Voltron

Robotech

GoBots

Transformers

BraveStarr

Bionic Six

Carebears

Dinoriders

GI Joe

Saber Rider

Spiderman

Thundercats

popples

Alvin and the chipmunks

chip 'n dale rescue rangers

and probably a shedload more which I can't recall. They don't make them like that anymore...nowadays it's all teletubbies and that ilk melting kids brains to mush while failing to convey any moral in the "stories".

Edit : Barbar, Wombles, Paddington Bear...how could I forget those.

Etz how old are you? Those shows were my childhood, alongside:

TMNT

Thundercats

Round The Bend

Dungeons and Dragons

Knightmare

Centurians

Jayce and The Wheeled Warriors

Dogtanean and the 3 Muskahounds

and so many more. :lol

edit: I would love a Dinoriders film.

Round The Twist - think it was a New Zealand show...

I thought it was Australian, although it could have been from New Zealand. Anyway I only saw it once, at school, and the memory of it always freaked me out a little. No idea why, I'm sure it wasnt particularly freaky. But yes.
