Worst Video Game you've ever played?

Sky surfer for the PS2, it was just after I had bought my machine and I was eager to get games for it! It was a cheaper game so I bought it on impulse as it sounded like Tony Hawks or something.

2 goes and I was bored to death.

Taught me never to buy before finding out about the game first!

All of the games I have got I have enjoyed at least for a little while... but one game that I utterly detested from the moment I got it was Crazy Frog Racer.

What a waste of money.

I know, and after that BRILLIANT ringtone as well! Shocker! :lol

Moonwalker on the CPC 464 was a complete stinker (you couldn't complete the first level without losing at least one life due to the time limit being too short to complete the tasks), especially after the great arcade and Megadrive versions.

How dare you insult any game that involves Michael Jackson going around strip clubs, rescuing kneeling down children by gyrating in their faces, whilst a chimpanzee straddles his face? What on Earth could possibly be wrong with that?

Ghostbusters for NES. In fact a lot of nintendo games really sucked.

It was still better then the recent Ghostbusters Game.

And I hope your making a statement along the lines of they suck because they were Nintendo and not because they were old.

Goldeneye: Rogue Agent for the N64. It tried to be GoldenEye. It failed in the most miserable of fashions.

I'd say it's not a great game, but there's a hell of a lot worse out there. I saw it for a fiver, and had about a tenner's worth of fun with it. It was never going to equal the N64's greatness.

I'm not; the home computer versions of the game were a top-down game where you had to run around and collect stuff.

Home computer versions

Versions of the game with completely different gameplay to both the arcade and console versions were released for the popular 8-bit and 16-bit home computers of the time. Unlike the arcade and console versions, Sega had absolutely no relation to these; instead, they were developed by two small softhouses, Irish Emerald Software Ltd and American Keypunch Software, and published by British company U.S. Gold; all of these have since gone out of business.

The games featured four different levels. The first was a top-down maze-style level based on the 'Speed Demon' short, involving wandering the studio to collect various items and costume pieces, with the final piece being the motorcycle, all whilst trying to avoid the crazed fans. The next level was similar gameplay, riding the motorcycle collecting tokens, upon which turning into a car in order to jump a barrier to the next part. The third level was a sort of side-scrolling level based on the "Smooth Criminal" clip, collecting ammunition and shooting at gangsters in openings above you. The final level involved morphing into a robot and shooting at soldiers in openings. This version of the game was noted to be the hardest version by far, indeed it was literally impossible to complete the first stage without losing at least one life due to the impossibility of collecting all pieces before time ran out.

Here's the Moonwalker game from Youtube. It looks terrible and hard as hell to play.

That's the good version, Fiona, and is quite easy to play.

Rats I think I put the wrong video on then. I'll have a look for the other one.

With Rise of the Robots, it wasn't helped by the fact it was so hyped before release. I can remember reading one magazine that gave it 10/10 in a review, even though they hadn't played it, just so they could have the exclusive. The reviewed it again after all the outrage was being spewed and gave it 1/10.
