Love me some Tom Waits. Ever see much of his acting? Down By Law and Wristcutters are really good. He comes in kinda late in the latter but thats a good movie anyways.

 

Listening to some early Screeching Weasel And some Kittie too (their new album, Funeral For Yesterday, is really good... especially the title song).

Just listened to Mastodon's "Crack the Skye" album, and while I'm not really into metal, all I can say is "OMFG". I have a feeling it's gonna be played a whole lot more.

Not liking it. It's too far on the "Pointless abrasive noises" side of hardcore music for me. They sound kinda like a sucky version of Rolo Tomassi, without the mental-dance-rave-synthcore awesomeness.

I found their most recent concert on Youtube and liked this song so I looked up a subtitled version. I was more than a bit surprised at how sexy the lyrics are. Still a great song though IMO.
