Great stuff! Sometimes, I look for matches that are under 10 minutes because I want to kill a little time or I'm writing (E-Wrestling) and I'm thinking about how to put a decent little match together.

 

I can't top what's already been posted but for those who like the WWF, I would suggest Owen Hart v 1-2-3 Kid from King of The Ring 1994 on YouTube. It's a mini-gem for 6 minutes.

There are few things more fun than KENTA manning the f*ck up against a heavyweight. That was awesome sh*t. The springboard stomp to the floor was insane.

 

That Owen/Kid match is incredible. I'd heard about it but never seen it before, wow. Unbelievable sprint.

 

Rey vs Punk at WM26 was a fun sprint.

I was going to mention Juvi/Blitzkrieg but couldn't remember how long it lasted. It opened one of WCW's best-ever pay-per-views and was the outstanding match on a card filled with them. For me, it holds up as what an opener should be.

That Rey/Punk match was my favourite from their feud, they were probably pissed not to get more time but I thought it worked out pretty well. Rey is probably the king of sprints... along with all other wrestling related activities

There was a Masters/Drew sprint on Superstars? I only remember their main events. That needs to be watched.

 

EDIT: OK, it is just the 12/5 main event. Could have sworn that went longer than 10 minutes. Anyway, still needs to be watched.

I know they had a killer six minute match on Smakdown, and that's the match I was looking for, but I couldn't even remember the month it happened let alone the exact date so I threw up that one. It is a pretty great match though in a different way(a lot more emphasis on selling etc). And you're right about the length, it went like 12 minutes so I cheated a little bit.

Now here's a match I had no idea existed until now. The Briscoe Brothers, Jay and Mark, both very young and in Japan, against a very young Ryuji Ito (with long hair, long pants, and zero scars!) and masked wrestler Fantastik.

 

So basically, three people who's appearance would change a lot, and a masked Mexican, making a pretty odd mixture of wrestlers. And it's especially odd to see the young Briscoes and Ryuji Ito. They've changed drastically since whenever this was. Possibly 2001-2002.
