Guest Jimmy Redman
Jim Breaks vs Young David (Boy Smith), WoS 13/2/80 This is not nearly as memorable or exciting as their first match in Dec '79, but it is still great and a compelling long title match. Young David (completely unrecognisable, by the way, as a skinny 17 year old kid) is great in his role and is carried effortlessly by Breaks, who is quickly becoming one of the best heels I've ever seen. If I had the internet speed at the moment I'd be watching every Jim Breaks match on Youtube. Love this man.
Guest Tink Holloway
Quite a statement You don't agree? (Think this particular debate might be worth a whole thread of its own!)
DC 536
It's a poor event overall, the Warrior/Savage match is really the only decent match so as I say I'm not exactly relishing the prospect!I know it's subjective, but I think you're being harsh on the rest of the card. For me, the following matches are all "decent" or better -: Rockers v Barbarian & Haku Big Bossman v Mr. Perfect Hogan v Slaughter Jake v Martel Warlord v Bulldog Nasty Boys v Hart Foundation Virgil v Ted DiBiase Also, the LOD v Power & Glory match is a great squash and Undertaker v Snuka is historic due to it being the beginning of The Streak. I think you're being overly kind! Hart Foundation V Nasty's is okay, Hogan V Slaughter is dreadful- one of the worst Wrestlemania main events of all time. The Rockers were fantastic and there match with Haku & Barbarian is decent, but it's also sloppy. Watch Rockers Vs Orient Express at Rumble '91, much better match. Virgil V Dibiase is okay. I honestly can barely remember Bossman V Perfect or LOD V Power & GLory and Warlord V Bulldog is meh. Whilst Undertaker's victory over Snuka might be significant from the perspective that it was Undertaker's first WM win, it's way below average (as most of 'Taker's matches were prior to Mick Foley arriving in 1996). GENE 86
I just finished watching WWE vintage collection, and again i will stand by my previous statement that this is the best wrestling show on tv.The best match on this episode was from Raw in July 2002 and had The Undertaker and Brock against RVD and Ric Flair. Its weird that back in 2002 we kind of thought wrestling was in a poor state, but by god i'd give my right arm to have a non fat and lazy RVD,a mobile and not broken down Undertaker, a full time Brock and a not so saggy Flair in 2013. Anyway the match had pretty good action with the highlight for me being when RVD had a pin on Brock and Taker came and dropped a pretty sick looking leg drop on the back of RVD's head. Other maches on the show were DDP and Bam Bam vs Saturn and kanyon ,Flair vs Sting , Piper vs Orndorf from an early Saturday Nights Main event and Nikolia Volkoff and The Iron Sheik against Andre and Sgt Slaughter. Guest Ciaran The King
Talking of 2002 you can't get much better than Taker/Brock HIAC at No Mercy, a brutal, bloody, awesome match

Guest Ciaran The King
Well I wouldn't say he's the exercising type:) anyway that match also has one of the sickest scenes when blood is gushing from the hole in Takers head!

Guest Ciaran The King
It was a pity their PPV match from the month before was horrible booked I hated the Unforgiven match, it was so badly executed. I know they wanted to carry on the feud but there were better ways to do it
Guest terrythunk
Earlier today I watched an Episode on ECW on TNN. Last match was Steve Corino vs Justin Credible. Highlight was Francine...
Guest Canned Heat
Rock v Cena at 29, again. Still meh.. I have absolutely no problem with near falls and finisher overkill. But they didn't execute very well in this match. In my opinion at least. Also, I want to hug whoever it was that came up with the Cena people's elbow fake. That was amazingly brilliant. Should have been the finish. 100%.
Guest Ciaran The King
Rock/Cena is better second time around but it still isn't worthy of a WM main event

Guest Ciaran The King
It was a nice touch Watching WM19 today. Jericho/HBK is one of my all time favourite matches. One of Jericho's finest performances ever and another brilliant performance from HBK. Also loved Austin/Rock. Another great performance in their hat-trick of WM matches. A brilliant match between two of the attitude era's finest performers Oh yeah, Brock's botched shooting star press. A thing of magic Edited April 20, 2013 by Ciaran The King
