You were much better, which is a big deal, because you always had the best mic-quality anyway. Chris sounded a lot better too, Dean and Matt were the same, which is fine for Matt, less so for Dean. You should fix the next contest so he wins and the prize is a microphone. Maybe it was something in the mix. Are you recording the tracks separately and then cutting them together after all? Because that would explain it. It just generally sounded a lot crisper and clearer, and there was a lot less background noise.
