It's the wwe network but I think it's a double edge sword. There is too much TV time already with half decent roster. So they will play old stuff which makes the current product look even worse and it will cost a bomb too. Still somewhere to play there terrible movies ,

On top of that, they can do chat shows, they can do round tables, they can do Total Diva stuff, they can do lifestyle Cribs-y stuff, they can do NXT, they can do little documentaries about the international tours, they can do Make A Wish stuff, they can play the movies, they can show old DVD documentaries, like the WCW and ECW ones they did a while back. As long as they don't many big mistakes, like putting exclusive pay-per-views on there, or giving out 'Mania for free or what have you, it should do fine. If UFC can have a network, WWE certainly can.

There's nothing to stop them re-running RAW and Nitro in order daily or weekly (even just the period of being head-to-head) as well as the other weekly shows they have from the likes of Mid-South or Smokey Mountain Wrestling.

I know I'd watch if they ran the weekly shows in that manner.

Sucks about Mae Young. She lived an age, especially for a wrestler, but still, I feel worst for Fabulous Moolah, they seemed like genuine best friends.

On the subject of the WWE network, it's $10 a month, and you get all the pay-per-views free. If you're the kind of guy who gets every pay-per-view, that's crazy, it's basically an 80% discount even before you talk all the actual content into consideration. I'm assuming it's an anti-piracy measure, that's they're just trying to get SOME money out of people, even if it isn't much. Could be financially dangerous come WrestleMania season though.

I don't want to sound crass or judgemental, but if you're a wrestling fan and have the means to afford $9.99 with time to utilise it (I assume they'll charge £9.99 in the UK) then I truly believe you would be crazy not to purchase the WWE Network. For the output they're going to be giving I actually think $9.99 isn't enough.

WWE are going to be rolling in the money and we're all going to be rolling in the wrestling for a more than reasonable price. Win win.

I just read a bit that said old shows would be airing "uncut", without censorship of blood, WWF logos, Federation references, and even Benoit as we know. That may mean even original music?

I would imagine the music would be more of a tricky issue due to the licencing rights.

I'm surprised they included WrestleMania in the package, the cost of that alone is something like $60 or $70 for HD.

That's INSANE - I'm a day one sub once it hits the UK, I no longer would have to find my own directions to the party ever again~

WWE are going to be rolling in the money

To even start making a profit, they'll need an estimated 1,000,000 subscribers. That could easily happen, but, even then, that's breaking even, they're not going to be rolling in money.

It's still basically a pay-per-view though, so, if you're going to buy one pay-per-view, you might as well subscribe and get the next five for $2 each.
