WWE has announced that the releases of Curt Hawkins, Brodus Clay, Teddy Long, Camacho, Evan Bourne, and Yoshi Tatsu. Read the official announcement at WWE.com.

 

Powell's POV: Camacho had been working regularly in NXT, but the other performers haven't been on television in months in some cases.

The only one that I think had decent potential is Bourne. He fit the babyface, high flyer role well and it's a shame that injuries got in the way because he was doing alright and would have been great in a tag team with someone like a pre-Shield Rollins. Hopefully he can start to wrestle more often and maybe find himself back in the WWE at some point. I've liked him since his Matt Sydal days in ROH, so I hope he's got over the worst of his injury problems.
