Anyone who thinks Alex Wright's theme song wasn't the best ever is wrong, and rapes small children for fun.

And even though it wasn't original, I do love Hogan's heel theme. I wish TNA would stump up the rights for it.

The Hall of Fame release (nearly put CD) are all re-releases except the Age Against The Machine version of Break It Down which was made in 2009 as promo music for Summerslam 2009, and the Bedlam's Gate version of Just Close Your Eyes which was one of the bands they asked to remake the song back when they were bringing him back when he left TNA.

WWE generally ask several bands to make their own versions of songs, they give them the lyrics and general ideas on riffs etc, and see what they come up with, then pick one and edit it.

Best examples are The Corre's theme song which was done by several artists, more noticeable though as they used most of them before they ended up with the version Wade used, rumoured to be Matt McClosekey of Rev Theory. Cody's Smoke and Mirrors. The original song was by TV/TV and a friend of mine Josh Ocean. When WWE wanted it remade, they asked Downstait and the whoever did End of Days (As I say, probably McClosekey). They didn't bother using the Downstait version even though it is very good.

IIRC he debuted the Mutiny Within version a few years ago and then another version popped up around the same time on Youtube and on Myspace, can't remember the bands name though. Just remember people going crazy over it on theme sites and Youtube.

Here's the other version.

This was a really good song for Heath Slater. Much better than this county song he has now.

I also think he could be a big hit in the future. Probably as a face.

Yeah he used it with Justin Gabriel but it didn't last long. Slater won't be a big hit in any company, he's a good goof like character but still awful. Edited by Shaun2J

Slater has too punchable a face and too annoying a voice to really be a good candidate for babyface star.

He's a good bumping heel jobber though and I hope he sticks around in that capacity.

Please, it sounds like a Jennifer Lopez single with that opening. "Basic Thuganomics" was about 20 times cooler.

Another reason to love Ryback;
