Guest Jamster26
I think the point, is that he's not a face anymore and so a new theme is in order. Once which doesn't sound like a theme that a face would have.
Guest John Hancock
I think the point, is that he's not a face anymore and so a new theme is in order. Once which doesn't sound like a theme that a face would have. Cult of Personality is about Mussolini, Hitler and Stalin! Like Chris, I'd love Miseria Cantare: The Beginning, but I also totally understand why that can't happen. The intro is way too long, and the song itself is way too short (as it's basically just an album intro anyway, and not a full song). A man can fantasise though, because that song has the absolute best cult-heel / heel faction lyrics EVER; "Nothing from nowhere, I'm no one at all, radiate, recognise one silent call as we all form one dark flame... love your hate, your faith lost, you are now one of us". [video=youtube;F0uJbi2BOGE]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0uJbi2BOGE F*cking brilliant.
Guest Edgehead
He's only had it for a year! So what?? It suited him as a babyface, it doesn't suit him as a heel hence he needs a new one
dsrchris 190
No doubt if they'd pay out for the song then they could mix a new version that works better as an entrance. I'm pretty sure the version of "Cult of Personality" they use has been personalised for Punk to use as entrance music? Living Colour: [video=youtube;7xxgRUyzgs0] 2011 Punk Version [video=youtube;PqUl6n92DJg]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqUl6n92DJg It's not a massive difference, but it shows that WWE can remix a song to make it work if they want to. Just sayin' AFI could happen if they really wanted to make it happen.
King 277
Some classic NWA/WCW themes, [video=youtube;wK0LkY1v3Q4] [video=youtube;4eBmeH0MAmk] [video=youtube;ACs846sRQpE]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACs846sRQpE [video=youtube;9adPDhRAqy0]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9adPDhRAqy0&feature=related
Guest Edgehead
Fletch put this up on his Facebook page earlier: (keep watching, the music kicks in) [video=youtube;6iW0Nn0T4k8] Now if THAT would have happened I'd have marked. The. F*ck. Out. I'd love Punk to have "Miseria Cantare" as his entrance music, but they'd need to do something about the long drawn out intro to the song. The guy who made this video pretty much nailed it though. Never heard that before but I like it
dsrchris 190
Man, Punk used to use that A LOT in ROH. Where have you people been? :lol
Guest Edgehead
Not seen much ROH I'm afraid but I fully intend to youtube some of Punk's stuff from those days :)
Guest John Hancock
Man, Punk used to use that A LOT in ROH. Where have you people been? :lol Considering he had a million theme songs in the indies, and he named a move after it, I'm surprised he never had this; [video=youtube;2DvCQthkSgI] If the Second City Saints ever reform, just saying. Fletch 204
Used to love when the crowd all stomped their feet and sung along for Punk's entrance.. LOVE. PURE HATE... YOUR FAITH LOST... HE really needs to use it if he goes full on heel, sure WWE could make a good loop of it, since all their theme songs are looped seamlessly and almost endlessly rather than the 2/3/4 minute cuts we hear and they release. Guest John Hancock
Didn't Punk only get Cult of Personality because he threatened to walk out, and it was one of the conditions of him resigning? If so, I won't if he has enough political clout to get another licensed theme song.
Fletch 204
He had it written into his new contract I do believe.
Guest Jamster26
No idea if this is fan made, but I think this would make a pretty decent heel theme for Punk. Maxximus 353
The only difference is this cover of Cult of Personality sucks ass.
ViciousPrism 177
Agreed with Maxx. It's my belief that Cult of Personality is a heel theme anyway, judging by the subject matter of the song. Skim the wikipedia page if you don't understand. Or even the lyrics of the song tell the story "I'll exploit you, yet you still love me". There you go. No need to change his theme at all. (Plus, to everyone who's followed Punk's ROH career, Cult was his heel theme when he turned his back on the fans for the Summer of Punk.)
Guest John Hancock
It's a song named after a political term coined when describing Joseph Stalin. That's really all that needs to be said about whether or not that song is heelish enough.

Guest
Mach Platz! I loved Dean Malenko's theme back in the day. Ryan 188
Maaaaan that Ryback theme is absolutely awful! Anyway, Chris Benoit's "Whatever" theme is the only wrestling theme that's ever made it onto my iPod, and with WWE producing crap like Rybacks & RUINING Dean Malenko's awesome tune with Cesaro's then chances are it'll stay that way.
