Banging on windows and going beyond the hotel lobby is not cool, but its not wrong for people to be able to ask politely.

No I understand that, but is this not what autograph signings are for...even waiting outside when the wrestler arrive back....but at 4am when the stars are in the little time they get off is more than excessive and intrusive

As stated by bee i didnt stay up until 4 in the morning to get autographs yeah we stayed up but only till after they checked in and we didnt get autographs or photos till the day after.my young nephew wanted to stay up to see them as this was his first time.i have repspect for the superstars and as i wouldnt want people coming up to me when im tired i wasnt going to do it to them. And anyway it wasnt 4 it was 1:45,the supertars didnt to seem bothered anyway as they came over to us numerous times and spoke to us.

Can i just ask did u get to meet the wretlers?

I'm sorry, but keeping a six-year old up until that time is unfair, considering the show would have finished around three hours earlier. I had my ten-year old stepson with me, and there is no way I would have kept him up for three hours after a show to meet someone. I personally think that was a wrong thing to do.

What's wrong with staying up till 4am to meet the wrestlers? I'd stay up all night every night for the next 7 weeks if it meant I got to see Edge again...

I doubt any of the wrestlers even cared what time it was anyway...most of them will have been out clubbing it until the early ours and were planning on continuing the party back in their rooms...

I would be pretty pissed off if someone came up to me at that time in the morning asking for my autograph or picture. It has happened a few times in clubs after a show, and I will sign something if they ask nicely. But if someone was banging on windows and being an arse about it, then they would get absolutely nothing. And I don't blame a single wrestler who does the same thing. Regardless of your status in life, you have to be allowed some time alone. Even if you worked in a computer shop, you wouldn't like it if people came up to you when you were trying to relax, complaining about their PC problems, or a doctor who is off duty being harrassed by people with ailments. Everyone deserves some "me" time.

I have met countless wrestlers, and have seen people go up to them when they are eating a meal and ask for a picture, then the fan gets upset when told no. I mean, how hard is it to wait until the meal is finished. I even saw a fan harrass a wrestler who was on the phone to his wife, not letting him talk and basically being a pain. I eventually stepped in an escorted the guy outside.

You have to remember that these people aren't wrestlers 24/7. There comes a time when Kane becomes plain old Glen Jacobs, when Undertaker becomes plain old Mark and when Draven Cage becomes plain old Henry Higgins III. Let them act like it.

HAHAHAHAHAH, millionaires?! Thats a joke right?
It must be. There are only a handful of wrestlers who are millionaires. Most because they invested their money wisely (JBL, Goldberg, Show) or made a fortune on merchandise (DX, Cena, nWo, Austin) sales. There are few wrestlers who get paid what they are worth (no jokes about those who get paid more) and some get downright scandalous wages in comparison to other sports.

Look at the football scene. Guys on £100,000 per week. Some mediocre footballers earn over £50,000 per week. The majority of wrestlers are on $50,000 (£28,000 approx) per year, with a select few being on anything more than $300,000 (£180,000 approx) per year. The majority of wrestlers are getting by, nothing more. Raven made more on the indy scene than he did when he worked for Vince.

All of them were back at the hotel bar...or had gone to their rooms, but there were some fans hanging around in both the lobby and outside the hotel generally being a nuisance to hotel staff.

Maybe its just me, but when the wrestlers retire back to the hotel bar, and are changed etc, that should be there private time...not as I witnessed, hassled till 4am by fans banging on the hotel bar window and hanging around the lobby, when this was wrestlers private time

Maybe thats just me.....

so i gather if you know what was happening at the hotel you were indeed there aswell till 4 in the morning trying to get autographs.yeah there were a select few who were annoying for example ric flair and piper who didnt have reservations in the hotel, though complaints were made were still on site bothering them when i went to bed. Yeah there were people in the lobby but most of them are true fans and they didnt even approach them for autographs. The supposed fans which were outside trying to get autographs were not real fans but people getting things signed to put on ebay.

Wish I’d kept my mouth shut now. I wasn’t implying that fans have the right to be rude. Butting in on a meal or a phonecall is unacceptable...I was getting at the fact that some wrestlers (and other celebrities aside) aren’t actually that welcoming to the fans full-stop. Whether it is a signing or whatever. Banging on the window and arsing about is stupid, and immature. I wouldn’t do that. For example, when I saw Edge in Newcastle last week, I was parking up nearby HMV and I saw him and Lita cross the road. They were looking at the Gate and checking out the surroundings, yet despite the fact that I was about to faint with excitement over seeing Edge so close up, I stopped myself from beeping/yelling out of the window cause I knew it would attract unwanted attention and make a huge scene.

I don’t think I expressed my opinion very well :(

Was I there collecting for autographs....Not Quite!

What I saw, and what you saw must have been slightly different...on a number of occasions, fans were entering the bar from the lobby and asking for autographs, on a couple of occasions, interupting conversations etc...I even witnessed someone ask Kevin Dunn "Who are you" !!

This became increasingly more of an annoyance to the wrestlers, along with fans standing at the hotel bar window...in all honestly, did they think the wrestlers were going to come outside at 4am

Most I spoke were less than impressed at the age of some 'fans' waiting outside...

I will say some wrestlers did sign autographs in the lobby...I suppose if you were there you would have seen the 'Randy Chop' ?! ;)

True fans or not...if your a true fan you would realise when Edge stops being Edge and becomes Adam Copeland !?

You know there was a time when the bad guys were bad guys all the time and would spit on you if you asked for an autograph.
I refuse to give an autograph, but make sure the boss is around to hear me say no. He then orders me to sign it or I get suspended or some other punishment. I have to sign the thing, which makes the fan happy, I get to stay a heel and the boss gets to stay the boss. Everybody wins.

I wasnt there to witnes the chop myelf as i was in bed at the time but was told about it the following morning and the boy who got chopped aparantly originally asked randy to rko him.No i didnt witness what you stated as i was in bed but this must of been the night of the raw taping. We waited till the morning they departed to get photos and autographs and to me the superstars who recognized us seemed to appreciate it as they came over to us and asked us if we wanted anything signed or photos done e.g mickie james, lillian, edge, sabu, chris masters, vicera and the spirit squad.

Can i just ask were you travelling with the superstars because a number of people seem to know who you are?
